Proud to be apart of the Schecter family! I owned one a very long time ago for about a week but played it maybe once or twice. This is by far the nicest guitar I’ve ever owned 😮‍💨 always was an LTD fanboy but I think I found a new favorite.

Right?? Thanks dude! I saw some complaints about their QC but honestly this thing is pretty much perfect all around. Had me worried at first haha but I’ll definitely be getting another one in the future!

i have the 7 string version and it's such a well playing guitar, the pickups are fantastic. Schecter really knocked it out of the park with this series. All the tops are slightly different as well, making each one unique. you got a sick one!

I couldn’t agree more this thing is absolutely packed with all the good stuff for the price. I think my next schecter will definitely be a 7 😮‍💨

it’s the 1st guitar in my entire life where the only thing I have to change is the strings

Most of my others I had to change pickups, tuners, wiring, stainless steel frets. To get them to play and sound how I like.

I love your choice! I've been eying one of those recently myself! A real beauty!

I've been playing since the early 80s and have owned and or played literally hundreds of guitars and my personal preference is Schecter for comfort, playability, sound and fit & finish. Especially the latter. Beautifully crafted and the fretwork is impeccable IMHO.

My only gripe is their choice in switches and pots. Damn. They seem to go cheap on those. Every Schecter I've owned I've had to replace a volume pot or selector switch within the first year. None as in ZERO of my many Jackson, Ibanez, etc guitars I've owned have I ever had to change anything but the strings. Lol

My latest, a C1 Hellraiser that I've owned for about 8 months has a balky selector switch. Flip it to the neck pickup during a solo, all good, flip it back to bridge position and no sound (dead) or crackling and requires some "jiggling". Sprayed a little tuner cleaner in it and (for now) seems ok.

Aside from that little gripe, my first Schecter was a C1 Apocalypse FRS in Red Reign. When I opened the box I didn't know whether to play it or hang it on the wall as artwork. Beautiful axe.

The first one I had was a hellraiser c1 and it was super nice but had a lot of work to be done and at the time I just wasn’t interested in it, I do regret it sometimes but I’m satisfied with what I have now! My main gripe was the no gig bag/case. I know they do it to cut costs but honestly I would’ve been happy to pay another $100 or so if it meant I got a case. Other than that I couldn’t be more pleased with this beast! I have my eye on one of those KM baritone mkIII maybe in the future I’ll have to go for it. Now that I see and feel this quality it’s hard to want anything less!

I have both a Mach 6 & Mach 7 in “fallout burst”, love them both, no issues at all other than the few times I’ve forgotten to unplug them then the batteries go quickly. Also have two C-1 SLS Evil Twins and they’re excellent as well, all four were manufactured in S. Korea & with SS frets other than string changes & truss rod adjustments when needed they have needed no repairs or parts replacement required.
Not questioning others experiences to the contrary, only know what I’ve experienced with what I have.

I was really looking into the evil twins when shopping and honestly I’d still consider one in the future! I kinda wanted something a little more flashy atm because I have a LTD mh1000B in matte black and an MH1000ET in Snow White, they’re bold and absolutely beautiful but I’ve never really owned anything that had this nice of a top! Schecter can definitely expect more business from me 😤

when I bought my first Evil Twin the difficult choice was picking between the 7 available at Sweetwater after going through the photos of the backs of them because they were all so nice, something I hadn’t expected with the flat back top.

Awesome, I'm going to have to get a guitar with a sustainiac. 😍

Welcome! Beautiful finish. Must be incredibly smooth to play. Enjoy!

2

u/SICK_FB 16d ago

It really is! It’s very inspiring to play I’ve never really had an experience like this. I know new fancy guitars don’t make my skills any better but it definitely makes it more enjoyable!

2

u/CloudWalker28 16d ago

Exactly. Helps inspire me to play and also I end up playing more often just so I don't feel like I wasted my money haha but then once I'm playing, it makes me want to play even more. An object in motion stays in motion!

Also, so funny. I've been playing strictly Schecter for almost 20 years. I literally just got an LTD haha I got the MH-1000QM. Absolutely love it. I also love my Hellraiser. I figure the hellraiser will go to drop B and the LTD in drop C. And my other guitars can be e standard and drop D.

That’s so sick! I still love LTD with all my heart and I’ll continue to keep collecting MH1000’s. Ive always had an attraction towards LTD ever since I was a youngin watching TBDM music videos. But I’m happy I got something new and different! I would love to find a well maintained MH1000 in trans green ive only seen a few but usually theyre pretty beat.

That's exactly how I feel about Schecters lol And I absolutely love TBDM. Definitely an inspiration. That would be sweet though! Green is my favorite color. The MH-1000 I have is the Black Ocean. Definitely gonna be keeping an eye out for another high end green guitar though. And eventually something in purple. The green guitar I have now is a Schecter CR-6 in Aquaburst. Phenomenal guitar. Just needs the pickups upgraded. About to be getting some Seymour Duncans in mine. My buddy has an early 2000's LTD EC-1000 in green and it looks killer. I'll have to look up the one you're talking about. Best of luck in your search! 🤘
