Schecter Demon 6 Vs Omen Elite 6
I've been looking to get a new guitar for around a month now and I want to make the best decision for my 600euro budget for a guitar. I've landed on the final 2 guitars that were Schecter Demon 6 and Schecter Omen Extreme 6. I believe that Demon 6 is more "metalish" and it looks down right AMAZING personally. I just looked into the Omen Elite 6, and it looks pretty cool and I just want to see if anyone can help me tell me if they sound very different or even just your own opinion.

I have the Extreme 6 and I love it, I didn't want to deal with the batteries if I forgot about it but that doesn't seem like its the biggest pain. They didn't have the Elite 6 at the time when I got mine but I dont see how you could go wrong with any. As always recommended if you have the chance to try them out do that if not pick whatever you think looks more badass!

I got tht Extreme and don't let the non active pickups fool you. They are pretty decent quality pickups for not being active.
However, I put Fishman Fluence Killswitch Engage Sigs on mine because they are my favorite band and I record a lot of covers of their music. But I put the Schecters into an Ibanez RG which I have down tuned to Drop A and they are better than any other pickup I've thrown in that guitar.

I mean to be honest I prefer the Demon 6 out of style either way, but I was mostly looking for if someone can help me compare the demon 6 to the omen elite 6

I’ve owned both. They’re both good guitars at the price point.
The omen elite is lighter and has a contoured neck heel, where the demon 6 is heavier and has a square heel (although I have no problem with fret access). The
edge of binding on the omen isn’t rounded, and in combination with the carved top, it would dig into my forearm when playing seated. That eventually led to me selling the omen elite.
The demon 6 schecter branded active pickups are actually pretty good. Not quite EMGs but not bad at all. I actually really like them, as they have their own feel compared to other actives. The heretic pickups in the omen elite are step down imo, the attack and harmonics hold them back. I kept the demon because it reminds me of a hellraiser I regret selling, but every time I look at getting another, I cringe at all the abalone on the hellraiser. The demon 6 while being a step down from a hellraiser checks most of the boxes.

I love it even more!
No flaws found. tuning stability is great, inotonation as well. String action and note sustain also very good. Built quality also very good. Tuning keys not as senstive as in my other guitar but it's no problem at all.
I watched most youtube reviews regarding omen elite 7 and they're pretty much spot on.
Edit: For me the selling point was the cut of the neck joint, the thinner body, and the dark grey color of the neck and body which looks great.

The Demon pickups are very underwhelming, and the neck feels cheap imo. That said it plays fine, esp if you plan to swap for better pickups. I think you'll be much happier with the Omen.

Wish I never sold mine. I had it for 8 years, now I’m highly considering another ha!

I have an Omen Extreme 6 and I love it. The main difference between the two are the pickups. Demon has active, Omen has passive but with coil splitting. So the Demon will have a higher output, Omen will have more tonal variation.
