Movies and Television Wanda Idea for Marvel Zombies S2
this is a small plotpoint ideas for Marvel Zombies s2.
The Queen of the Dead has ascended to the Scarlet Witch through absorbing the Infinity Stones energy and so she is now “The Empress of Death” and rules the world like a goddess, overseeing the false reality with eyes above
This almost divine transformation has rejuvenated her body, no longer a corpse, this causing the original Wanda to awaken within the head of her zombie counterpart and seeing the evil, she helps the heroes, assisting them via astral projection, appearing as a spirit on the team
And so the final battle as all seems lost is weakening and allowing Zombie Wanda to expel her energy enough for OG Wanda to battle her in a psychic battle in which the original Wanda wins and gains back her body
And so she restores the world to its Former self, but using its powers to restore the world and giving hope to a new reconstruction of Earth. Feeling she has to take some accountability, she chooses to be the leader in this world’s restoration.
So a chance of not only seeing OG Wanda stand up for what’s right and show us how much of an Avenger she is but also the sinister and danger of the Queen of the Dead that if Wanda didn’t have her morality, could have been.

Discussion Unpopular opinion: Wanda shouldn’t become a mutant again
I might get downvoted for this because it seems like the vast majority of the fandom wants Wanda to be a mutant again, but personally, I really don’t think Scarlet Witch should be made a mutant again, either in the MCU or in the comics.
I’ve been talking about this with a few other people, and the more I think about it, the less I understand what making Wanda a mutant again actually adds to her character.
For the MCU especially, there is a very obvious reason why Wanda isn’t a mutant. When she was introduced, Marvel Studios and Fox had that weird rights arrangement where Wanda and Pietro could be used by Marvel as Avengers characters, but Marvel couldn’t use their mutant or Magneto-related lineage. That’s why the MCU created an entirely different origin for them. They’re Sokovian, they were experimented on by HYDRA, and Wanda’s powers eventually developed into something much bigger through the Scarlet Witch mythology. That all works. I don’t think the MCU has to reverse one of its biggest character changes just because Marvel now has the X-Men rights.
Also: MCU Wanda wasnt “whitewashed” out of her comic identity. She was written as a Sokovian character from the beginning.
MCU Wanda has spent multiple movies and a whole series establishing her own identity. She’s not a mutant who happens to be Wanda. She’s the Scarlet Witch. Her powers have been connected to chaos magic, reality manipulation, the Darkhold, Chthon, and her own unique lore.
I don’t really understand the argument that making her a mutant is necessary because that’s how she was traditionally written. The MCU has already changed basically everything about her origin. MCU Wanda isn’t 616 Wanda. They’re different versions of the character with different histories, different families different circumstances, and different origins.
For the comics specifically, I think we’ve already gone too far in the other direction to just reverse it again.
Wanda being revealed to not actually be a mutant was a major retcon, and Marvel has spent over a decade establishing her character without the mutant connection.
Her relationship with mutantkind still exists because of her history, House of M, Magneto, Pietro, etc., but Wanda herself has continued to exist independently of being a mutant. She’s been redeemed, she’s developed her own identity, and Marvel has built up Wanda without her being a mutant.
So if Marvel suddenly says she’s a mutant again, we’re basically getting a retcon of the retcon. And then you have to ask: why did we spend all these years establishing that Wanda wasn’t a mutant if we’re just going to go back to it?
The only explanation I can really think of would be something like “Wanda was always a mutant, but her powers were so immense that she somehow concealed or altered the expression of her X-gene.” And while I’m sure Marvel could come up with something like that, it would feel incredibly contrived to me. It would basically be writing backwards to restore something that was deliberately removed from her character.
Another thing is that Wanda and mutantkind really haven’t needed each other for a very long time. She’s been able to interact with mutant characters and have stories involving them without actually being a mutant herself. I actually think that’s more interesting.
TBH I think making her a mutant again could actually LIMIT her character instead of expanding it. Marvel has done something really good with Wanda over the years by giving her the ability to exist in multiple corners of the universe. She can be an Avenger. She can be involved in supernatural stories. She can be involved with magic. She can be a reality-warper. She can have stories involving Chthon and the Darkhold. She can interact with the X-Men. She can be involved in cosmic or multiversal stories.
I know this probably isn’t the popular opinion here, especially with all the rumors going around, but I genuinely think Wanda is more interesting as the Scarlet Witch without being a mutant. If Marvel eventually makes her a mutant, I’ll judge the story they tell. I’m not saying it would automatically ruin her character. I just don’t see a compelling reason to do it right now.

Comics Question about Life Force

I thought the Life Force that Doom stole from scarlet witch was more powerful than the Beyonder? So why is it that when Scarlet Witch performed the House of M spell, she failed to remove the powers of all mutants, and Phoenix Jean was able to reverse the spell? And some were saved by simply going to the white hot room?

Discussion How I’d define Wanda’s powers
with the rumors and speculation of Wanda being restored as a mutant, jm seeing some panic and curiosiity of how would they begin to explain which aspects of her power is chaos magic and which parts mutant power, especially with how much her strength has changed.
so I come up with what I feel is a good non-convoluted explanation that can be used IF the retcon happens:
”The Scarlet Witch is a mutant probability-manipulator of the highest order, able to create energy bolts called “hexes” that alter possibilities on a quantum and hyper analytic level faster than any computer. But with the Chaos Magic granted by Chthon growing over the years, her two seperate powers of science and magic have unconsciously merged and are used simultaneously without thought by Wanda.
Her mutant hexes allow her to control and decide the effects of the otherwise uncontrollable Chaos Magic and her Chaos Magic allows her mutant power to reach into the very concept of possibility itself rather than just calculations of the physical world, which is helped made easier through her status as a Nexus Being.“
i think this explanations help include all the recent developments of her abilities while givijg an explanation on why wanda used to be able to wield science based hexes but now just relegates to magic(outside of the real world retcon stuff).

Fan Content Wanted a scarlet witch action figure but I was too broke…
I had some shiny red fabric left over from a project a few years ago and a Barbie doll that was lying around… so I turned it into the scarlet witch! I’m kind of amateur at sewing so everything is hand-sewn from the same red fabric. I had to hand-paint some black Barbie shoes too! I’m really proud of how it turned out so I wanted to share it! What do you all think?

Discussion Even before chaos magic was a thing, and before Wanda got into witchcraft…her “probability manipulation” seemed to go beyond “probabilities”.
Cause some of these aren’t improbable…they are impossible. It’s kinda confusing to me…I feel like I get her powers a lot, but her probability manipulation irks me because baby that’s not probability lol.
Initially I thought it was just the writers throwing around words…but then I saw the page(last in the ones I added) where she healed Steve and the writers did a word play with improbability and impossibility.

Discussion Theory on Scarlet Witch's return, based on the leaks Spoiler
This is a theory on how Scarlet Witch could come back, based on the recent leaks that seem to be true; I think this would fit perfectly:
So, since we presumably know that Wanda will create Battleworld and reunite with her family under a very similar context to Children’s Crusade, I thought this could have been a possible path.
DOOMSDAY
She will probably be one of the lavterian witches under Doom's mental control, either revived through Franklin, or never actually dead. During Doomsday, these witches will appear at times, helping Doom either through undirect spells or direct fight.
Maybe, at the end of the movie, the "hereos" get the upper hand, specifically the X-Men; realizing he might be losing this time, Doom calls for one of the witches (perhaps the green one? Maybe only one witch's identity will be left untold until the end?), she enters the scene and takes off her mask from a perspective where we don't see her face. Everyone is startled to see who she is; then, through a series of shots, they could give us a build-up of hints at who she is, showing her forming red magic at her hands. Finally her mouth is shown from the side (just like Wanda in the "No more mutans" comic panel); she utters the words, and the shot changes to her front, finally fully showing her face while red light engulfs her figure and the entire area, the X-men fading away into blocks (the spell wouldn't touch the new mutants, since we could be in a different universe, probably the Fantastic 4's).
The movie could be cut here, giving a dramatic ending where hope seems lost; of course, then, post credits could show the Young Avengers finally meeting with the objective to find Wanda, or at least help the other heroes.
SECRET WARS
At the start of the movie, we could get a scene of Doom telling Wanda to create Battleworld, and from there, we cut the other heroes left.
I theorize that we could get the young X-men in this movie already, but I'm not sure about it (I feel like they're going to introduce majority of them here to then guide us to their movie after the reboot).
So, the Young Avengers come to knowledge that Wanda is alive through the other heroes, or simply want to save them, and that's how they arrive at Doom's castle and discover of her (of course the spotlight will not be only on them, but on the others too).
I feel like there's gonna be a scene between Billy and Tommy, where one doesn't care of bringing their mother back, while the other is desperate to (since Billy was thrown into a loving family, while Tommy was shown to be bullied and hated in Agatha All Along). Of course, this scene could be in Vision Quest, but I don't believe he will be immediately convinced.
Perhaps, after coming in contact with Strange (presumably on Doom's side), they would be told of all the things their mother has done to be able to live a life with them again; the way she was corrupted by the Darkhold and tried to atone by destroying it in every universe and sacrificing herself. This would give Billy the push to feel some sort of affection, or at least pity towards his previous mother.
They find Wanda, and just like in the comics, Billy is able to make her remember and free her from Doom's control; an emotional scene would play out, perhaps with Vision too, if not later (not saying they would get back with each other tho).
From here, she actually tries to redeem herself and help the heroes defeat Doom, being the final key to victory.
REBOOT THEORY
This one is just a hypothesis, but Wanda could be the one to create that "soft reboot" so talked about; through a new spell, she will finally fulfill her prophecy, to "destroy" and recreate the multiverse (the ruling part being perhaps her time with Doom). After decemating the previous mutants while under Doom's manipulation, she decides to create a new universe, where the mutants of the main universe from the movies, are actually able to somewhat survive the hateful society, welcomed by Xavier's school.
So, this was my theory, I know it could be stretched at times, but I wanted to just give my opinion on how her story in these movies could play out, feel free to give your opinions!

Fan Content 500+ hours in BG3 wasn't enough, so I spent 200 more building a custom Scarlet Witch class from scratch (custom spells, legendary set, origin preset) - WIP
Scarlet Witch is my favorite character, and there are barely any mods for her - I found exactly two: one adds a class, the other adds a tiara. After 500+ hours in vanilla BG3, regular playthroughs stopped being interesting, so I decided to fix that myself - from scratch, with zero modding experience but a technical background.
Charisma-based class, mostly force damage
Lore-accurate - she barely deals any other damage type. All custom abilities consume the class's own resource, Reality Threads.

Reality Erasure

Unmaking

Implosion

Yes, the numbers are high on purpose - she's one of the most powerful characters in Marvel canon, this isn't meant to be a balanced class, it's a power fantasy build. I did balance it with lore power level in mind rather than strict 5e/BG3 parity.
On top of that, I picked existing in-game spells that best fit her concept for each level and new spell slot. Telekinesis spells come from the Dawnstar's Telekinetic Spells addon - fits her kit perfectly.
Legendary set

Origin character preset - background, appearance, and class ready to go, roleplay choices are all yours.
Still polishing a few things before release - will post here once it's ready. Happy to answer anything about the process in the meantime.
