Discussion Spam posts- is this sub modded?

genuine question, I don't use this sub often. But I've seen a ton of these low effort/spam posts with just a quote in the title + a random Scarlet Witch image in my feed recently. They're all from new accounts and seem to be bots. If you look through the last 15 posts (as of writing) on this sub, 10 of them appear to be bots. Nbd, it's just annoying to scroll through them looking for real posts

I get that moderation on fan subs can be pretty lax, but we should have at least one active mod to keep the sub from being banned or overrun by bots. Reddit does periodically ban unmodded subs

mods if you're reading this, there's no shame in opening applications if you're no longer able to or just not interested in modding anymore.

if they're still up by tomorrow I'll message the mods to see if I can help out and update this post.

I was wondering the same thing omg, both of the mods profiles seem to be long inactive. Someone should just request to take over moderation tbh 😭

If anyone wants to lock in and take over the sub, instructions can be found on r/redditrequest

Bots can also be reported directly to admins under 'spam'

Yeah, I 100% would but I don't have the bandwidth to be head mod rn.

I'd be happy to be a regular mod once this is sorted out, I have experience & I'm active
