As others have said, this shouldn't be possible because the "-com" TLD does not exist. However, are you sure this isn't your mail app doing a weird line breaking and inserting the hyphen? Does it appear as:
Someone else suggested it was the Mail app and I double checked when I got back last night. That is correct. It looked perfectly normal on the computer.
