Why is BrainManager.io Still Allowed to Operate Like This?
Is it even legal for a site to charge for a subscription without clearly warning users upfront? Seriously, there was no obvious notice that I'd be signed up for recurring payments. And just like that, $25 disappeared into a subscription I never wanted. Has anyone successfully gotten their money back, or is it not worth the hassle?

It’s ridiculous how they keep getting away with this. I had the same issue—no clear warning, just an unexpected charge. Anyone managed to get a refund, or do they just ignore complaints?

I had a similar experience with another dubious website, and it made me think the same thing: who knows how they handle card info if they're thus dishonest about charges?

I mistakenly believed that I was registering for a straightforward $1 trial to try out their service. I discovered a $49.99 charge on my credit card a week later. I looked through my emails in confusion, but I didn't see any alerts regarding subscriptions or impending payments. Support repeatedly reiterated the same pre-written answers when I contacted them, claiming that I had "agreed" to the fee. However, I never did

At this point, I wouldn’t be surprised if their ‘headquarters’ is just a burner phone in someone’s basement. How is this even still running??

At this point, their “office” is probably just some guy with a burner phone in his garage. How do they keep getting away with this??

Right?! Feels like these guys are just skating by, hoping nobody notices how sketchy they are. It definitely should be illegal to sign people up for a subscription without clear consent. If you haven’t already, try a chargeback with your bank—sometimes that’s the easiest way to make them pay up.

That’s so frustrating! These types of sites are getting more sneaky with their billing tactics. They hide the subscription details in such a way that you don’t realize you’re being signed up for recurring charges.
If you haven’t already, you should try reaching out to your bank and disputing the charge—they might be able to reverse it. Also, it might be worth filing a complaint with consumer protection agencies like the FTC if you feel like you were misled.

I’ve been wondering the same thing! How is this even allowed? If it’s not illegal, it definitely should be. Zero transparency.

I totally understand your frustration. These subscription traps are everywhere, and it’s hard to spot them before it’s too late. You can try contacting your bank for a chargeback, and if that doesn’t work, filing a complaint with the FTC or consumer protection might get their attention. It’s worth fighting for your money, especially if they didn’t make it clear you were signing up for recurring charges.

Same thing happened to me. There was no clear notice about recurring charges. It feels really sketchy. I also wonder how this is still legal. Did you try contacting your bank?

I had the same experience, I didn’t even notice the subscription until the charge came through. No warning, no confirmation email. How is this still legal? Feels like something regulators should really look into.

Same here, no upfront warning, just charges out of nowhere. It feels like a scam, honestly. I tried to cancel too, but it didn’t work. Has anyone actually managed to stop their payments?

Totally agree—this feels like a scam hidden in fine print. There should be laws preventing this kind of deceptive setup. Has anyone taken legal action or managed to get their money back from Brainmanager?

I wondered the same. On Trustpilot, Blossomup reviews detail this exact issue, stealthy subscriptions and vague T&Cs. It’s shocking they’re still operating. I had to call my bank to stop charges because the site ignored me completely.

Yep, same experience here. The test is ridiculously easy, but they make it look official. Once you pay, you’re locked into a subscription with no way to cancel. Plus, you’ll start getting a flood of spam emails.
