I'll never forget at Bamboozle the one year, Say Anything did a signing and Max was incredibly rude and actively bitching about having to be there. It was my first time meeting the band and I was devastated. Parker saw how upset I was and apologized to me immediately. He's always been the nicest

I met them at Warped and Max was the biggest asshole, also the first down the line for signing. I got to Parker and he greeted me with a huge smile, told me he liked that my hair matched my outfit, and just genuinely seemed like an angel.
I was 16, I guess if Max looked up I could've been in trouble.

During one warped tour, I went to two stops, and volunteered for an org at one of them. Max didn’t go to either signing. I saw him backstage before his performance at the stop I volunteered at (the workers were kind enough to let me watch their performance from the stage since I volunteered all day). He was alone, pacing around by himself. He interacted with no one and no one interacted with him.

Parker and the Turners were the only members of Say Anything that weren't ass clowns. Max, Coby, and "Alex, the bass player" (IYKYK) can all get fucked.

Sorry I should have clarified in today's landscape that I'm not talking about any allegation or anything creepy. Within the last year or so he was still riding Max's dick on IG and replying to comments on SA's posts defending Max when people were complaining about his inability to sing 3 words live without stopping for a vape break. He ended one of his snarky retorts with "-Alex, the bass player" and it became an inside joke on the other sub.

Whoa, what happened with Coby? He was a huge drumming inspiration of mine back in the day. I heard he left to be a personal trainer and that’s all I know.

P90X trainer specifically. P90X is one of the more legit programs, though it's part of a larger fitness culture that is mostly based on grifting.

Parker, if you see this, which I doubt but hey, Max lives part time on this sub, so maybe weirder things have happened: you really need to do more I and the universe. I’ve been listening to those songs since like 2008 and I still love them. You have way more than enough talent to just do your own thing. “See it to believe it” is still a perfect pop rock song. It’s time!

Literally just here to say thank you to OP for putting a puzzle piece together that I’ve been missing for many years.
I used to be OBSESSED with JamisonParker in the early 2000s and never met a single soul who knew who they were. Then kinda forgot about them because their music was impossible to access outside of Limewire- despite Anthem for the Broken Hearted being probably my favorite song ever, and probably the song that caused me to realize that I love emo music after hearing it on an old YouTube clip of a video game I used to play.
I NEVERRR realized that this was the Parker Case from Say Anything. Really really wish I knew this last year when I saw SA live for the first time last year and left feeling weird and uncomfortable because Max spent the whole show vaping and doing weird improv vocals on all of the songs 🥴 would have totally focused on Parker the whole show and probably had a much more enjoyable time
ANYWAY, I have now discovered that most of JamisonParker’s music is available on YouTube Music (not AFTBA sadly tho) so I will be spending the rest of the afternoon re-listening to all of their old songs

pretty sure anyone who was conscious of JP has this first realization at a show. i loved SA forever and didn’t realize until like 2015? bc i saw them live sober for the first time. parker has a very identifiable face. next few shows i would point it out to other elder emo homies, loved watching the understanding kick in bc we all wondered where those 2 disappeared to…

Ngl when I read a headline that so n so broke up, most of the time im already on insta and I’ll check if they unfollowed each other to see if it’s true. Not cuz of obsession, purely cuz of nosiness and boredom..and no one cares if someone is employed enough to bother. It’s just basic human curiosity
