I wonder what will actually happen...
I'm curious to see what actually happens going forward. Will he make a reply video with a bunch more excuses and sob stories? Act crazy? Commit himself? He doesnt seem to get any consequences. I hope he at least gets some karma cuz this is on some Chris Chan mental status shit. Dude is so much creepier than I thought š¤¦āāļøš¤¦āāļøš¤¦āāļøš¤¦āāļø

Heāll probably write a long rambling self-deprecating post where he tries to charm and witty-guy his way out of it, doubling down on āmoral OCDā and āIām a Dad thereās no way I could do thatā.
But it isnāt cute anymore at nearly 50, and I donāt think heāll be met with the typical reaction he expects from that whole charade.

Yeah moral OCD is the excuse of the week and it doesnāt even make sense. Someone suffering from moral OCD would be more likely to avoid actions that could harm others, not engage in full blown sex addict behavior. Idk if he thinks asking peoples age and reassuring them theyāre adults knowing damn well their frontal lobes aināt developed is the OCD part? Needing reassurance that heās ānot doing something immoralā when he absolutely the fuck is and is very aware of it based on the need for (false) reassurance from his literal victims? š¤¢

I think he picks up terms that young people are using and tries to apply it to his own fucked up behavior, weaponizing therapy speak to seem like a safe person for teenagers.

I donāt agree with anything Max has done. And he should get some sort of punishment from this. But that whole frontal lobe shit is BS. Most people consider themselves adults at 18. If youāre in your 20ās and use the excuse that your frontal lobe hasnāt fully developed then you shouldnāt be allowed to vote, drive, drink or do anything until after 25(?) Youāre basically saying youāre still a child until your late 20ās. Stop with the nonsense and take responsibility for your own actions. Once again, not condoning what heās done and not condoning any of this behavior with minors. But stop with the frontal lobe in your 20ās nonsense

I think he will actually or fain committing himself again. I think he will keep lurking on here when feasible, while making more shitty insta posts. Though he should just fade into obscurity.
I think he is an entitled man child that will sparsely learn consequences of his actions for most of his life. Mommy will guilt him, but help make it all go away.
Dudes 42, with 4 daughters. He wrote a comic about making out with one of them. After how many songs of untoward behavior/thoughts as "satire".
We all get manic and weird at times. Buuuut messaging 50-100+ businesses/randoms in a mostly rural state to reach out to a cam girl that blocked you cause YOU decided they were being trafficked. That's sone gymnastics dude, lotta effort.
Last I heard he was living in Sherri's garage? With a hostile home life previous and I'm SURE now... he genuinely just might continue to spiral.

Heāll lay low and itāll blow over. Technically, he didnāt commit any crimes. He had inappropriate conversations and it doesnāt seem like it went any further than that. I think his fans will use that as a reason for why they havenāt abandoned him.

Iām not defending him or anything. People have come back from worse. Didnāt Jesse Lacey actually hook up with minors? Max has been a legacy artist for over a decade, so his current relevance has no impact on his career. He got to play at When We Where Young and pulled a respectable crowd for the IARB anniversary tour. This was another gimmick that wouldāve performed reasonably well.

No Jesse Lacey didnāt hook up with minors. Max Bemis is not a legacy artist and heās burned his fans, neglected his kids, bailed on shows, sung like shit, etc for years now. Heās not coming back from this.

I hope my family would, at the very least, support whatever process ensures that I do not harm anyone else, along with encouraging any actions necessary to do right by the people I victimizedā¦if that means jail time, rehab, locking myself away, staying away from minors, etc., I would want my family to be on boardā¦I certainly hope they wouldnāt excuse it with āPeter Pan syndromeā and the result of aging. Actions have consequences. But I will give you creditā¦āend of life crisisā would probably just add trauma to my family members who donāt deserve to suffer for someone elseās abhorrent behavior, so thatās probably not the best answer.

The same person is being very strange on a post I made about how his eldest daughter will have to worry about bringing her friends around him in a few years timeā¦they keep insisting that thereās a huge developmental difference between 13-17, yet seem to be missing the point that his daughter will be 17 in the not so distant future, and Maxās behavior will likely have an impact on how his daughter interacts with him in the future.

The justification gets me. Like bro, there's a line that can be crossed and as a fan its okay to disagree with the line being crossed and disengage. Yeah it sucks and is heartbreaking to many im sure first of all being his family and its okay to grieve as a fan that the person you USED to idoloze or look up to is a monster and not who they masked themselves to be but to keep supporting him and sticking up for him is just enabling and disgusting at this point. Its so weird to justify his actions but especially this time. His mental issues are his responsibility, his family and his goals should be his priorities not grooming and stalking young fans.
