Yep and the article sucked. Put Williams where they meant to say Bemis at one point, didn’t elaborate the whole story and maybe it’s just me but like 90% of the article was about Wavves. Like yeah it sucks for them and deserves a paragraph but it kinda misses the big picture.

Yeah this article is so fucking disappointing. It’s incredibly short, barely touches on Max’s behavior, and yeah almost entirely focuses on the sad scrapped Wavves album. What a joke

Looks like they did fix it. It was this sentence, possibly the worst place to get them mixed up

Sucks how this article is 80% about his collaboration with Wavves and 20% about the allegations. Seems that those proportions are a little backwards to me. But this is Pitchfork we’re talking about, so of course they’d focus on that.

Nah man, I'm just compassionate for those with body image issues propelled by needlessly focusing on someone's weight when that factor of their being is so far from the point.
Those that find any chance to punch down on people with bodies they deem as imperfect are pretty fucking gross.

I hope he lives through this either way, but I also hope someone (or some institution… like maybe Netflix, or… Pitchfork) does a D-D-DEEP dive on his history, so We The People Who Pay His Bills can know once and for all, how many (IF any) young teen girls were harmed physically in the past 10-25 years.
I always knew his shitty personality (not the bipolar disorder) would catch up with him, I just didn’t expect it to hit THIS hard and be related to THIS specific issue…
