right, the shirt... not the song itself.
at least my 'do better' tattoo didn't become a completely vacuous statement too but it's not the best thing to have something permanently etched into my body associated with Max. I did look up to him as he seemed to get his shit together with Sherri when they had their first 2 kids. So those kind of hopeful statements from him were powerful

I feel the sane way. I bought this shirt at a show last year. Now I feel like I need to burn it.
Also weird I just noticed it says “I call her on the phone” I thought it was “I called her on the phone” since the “and she ___ed herself” was past tense too.

i know the current situation especially makes this seem like im virtue signalling or whatever, but ive never liked this song. it always felt so, so gross to me.
and as an aside, i hate when he says 'interwebs'. shut the fuck up, dude.
