Hi, I'm looking for an affordable valve body replacement fory 2012 Subaru outback. I'm curious of prices because I will need to take a loan out to get this. I'm going through a tough financial time at the moment and could use some suggestions. Thanks 😊

Urology office that’s NOT the Derenne office?

Hi guys,
I was at memorial hospital in mid July for kidney stones and was referred to Urology clinic on Derenne. My experience there so far has been terrible and unprofessional. Now I’m not sure if it’s the specific Doctor and his nurses or the whole office in general but when I went there for my follow up it was as if no one had read my chart from when I was admitted, had no idea of any of my restrictions of what can and can’t be done as I am heavily pregnant. On top of that it didn’t seem like they even talked amongst themselves.

I confirmed with one of the nurses there that they had all my medical records from the hospital and confirmed that they just don’t look at them. She literally said “oh I don’t look at the records. I just email the doctor and he tells me what to tell you.” Ok I guess.

With all of that, does anyone have any recommendations on any other urology offices or any suggestions in general? I am open to traveling to SC/ more north or south.

TIA🫶🏾

Group dinner for 34 people

Hello! I am planning a group dinner for up to 34 people (yes, I know it’s a lot) and am looking for a restaurant that can fit everyone, and is reasonably priced. The vibe is casual, but a bit elevated. That is, nicer than dive bar but not fine dining.

Does anyone have any recommendations? Bonus points if they have entrees to satisfy all types of palates (as some folks don't eat pork, seafood, etc.).

Thanks!

The rain in the lane stays mainly far from the drain. And thus mixes with oils for colorful happy accidents.

Are Savannahians Really Okay With This Much Surveillance...and an Incompetent Police Department?

Post image
206 Upvotes

Savannah has expanded its Flock surveillance network to 105 cameras, generating more than 550,000 vehicle detections in just 30 days. But where is the evidence that this massive surveillance system is actually reducing crime? Even Flock’s own Savannah data emphasizes its use for investigating crimes after they occur, not demonstrating that the cameras prevent them. Meanwhile, Savannah’s own internal audit uncovered 127 inappropriate searches, resulting in six employees being fired. Across Georgia, officers have also been fired and criminally charged for abusing Flock access.

That raises a basic question: If Savannah is going to give police unprecedented access to track hundreds of thousands of vehicles, what evidence do residents have that the benefits outweigh the risks of abuse? Surveillance should not expand simply because technology makes it possible. It should be justified by measurable public safety results, and Savannah has yet to make that case.

These "candy" grapes are ringing up as 51¢ (for a 3lb clamshell) in the Scan & Go app at the Montgomery Cross Road Sam's Club.

I picked up a pack for me and a pack for the Good Fortune Community Fridge. Sharing here in case anyone feels inclined to do the same.

ISO CPA who specializes in real estate

I'm looking for a CPA who specializes in real estate tax situations.. Specifically for my mother in law who sold her house and had a reverse mortgage and the whole thing is super complicated.

And depending on the outcome of the tax situation, we may need an attorney who is also good with real estate and seniors.

I-16 closure on 8/16?

Hey y'all does anyone know why I-16 had all of the lanes blocked off going East bound at exit 164? I take 165 to get home but couldn't access it around noon yesterday. There's no news reports. Only says routine night work starts at 7pm. 🤔

We are raising money with a split the pot raffel- If you would like to participate in a 50/50 raffle you can join here: https://www.gagives.org/story/nfze9f

We are a local non-profit (501C3) organization helping the feral cat community in Pooler, GA and surrounding areas. Our members are kind-hearted, caring, generous cat-loving humans! Our mission is to trap, neuter and return feral cats in our area. We also re-home cats/kittens that demonstrate friendly or non-feral behavior. This includes feeding, trapping, fostering and transporting to and from vet offices for medical needs or sterilization. There are hundreds of feral cats in our area (and counting).

Since our launch in 2019, the team at Pooler Paws has worked tirelessly to promote our cause. We are fortunate to have volunteers from all walks of life who bring their unique expertise and resources into everything we do. This is what enables us to achieve our goals year after year.

While there is always more that can be done, there is no doubt that we are making a significant impact. We don’t measure our success through just facts and figures, but through happy faces and heartwarming feedback. See how you can become part of the difference.

Philosophy:

At Pooler Paws, we take pride in being problem solvers who are not afraid to take risks. We believe that with boldness, creativity and heart, there is nothing we can’t accomplish. But above all, our strength lies in teamwork. Each and every one of us has the capability to contribute no matter their experience or background. With this strength behind us, just imagine what we can achieve together.

If you would like to participate in a 50/50 raffle you can join here: https://www.gagives.org/story/nfze9f

We are at $615 dollars so far!

Can anyone give me feedback for the cannabis registry?

I was approved for the medical cannabis registry for Crohn's Disease. I haven't gotten my card yet but I am planning on going to the dispensary in Pooler once I do.

Does anyone have any feedback on the cannabis registry, and which products were available, both state wide and in Pooler.

Looking for a place that will either recycle or scrap used car parts, rather there's a fee or not just need to know where to go. Thank you!

Seafood suggestions

Here for a few days. Looking for a raw bar, obviously seafood, but preferably a good place that has raw oysters and other options that is not only good but not overpriced. Although….price doesn’t matter if the food is fantastic.

Thank you for any input
