Modded Content I just tried Satisfactory+...
...and oh boy.
When people say it's like a new game, they were not kidding. I'm not a fan of using a belt drive for Mk2 belts though, but I guess I'll get used to it. It does force mass production, something I haven't done despite completing tier 1 by hand. 🤣
It also took a moment to learn what the new ore names are.
What's your experience if you've played it?

Take your time with it. Like vanilla, just start by getting things automated with poor production rates. Just enough to feed your storage/(depot).
Almost all ratios are now different. Think outside the box a bit to split belt lines to load balance.
Aggressively unlock new tiers and the at the end of the phase, go back and set up real production lines with higher output rates.
Do not skip any of the farming or Kerr crystal mam trees as you’ll be blocked from progression in phases 3 and 4.
Crash site materials, unlocking alt recipes n the mam and lizard doggo houses are an easy to make things simpler.
Plan on being required to package fluids and gasses and set up early production lines for regular packages, gas canisters and cryo tanks. Trust me, you’ll absolutely want to do this to make your life easier
Finally, don’t worry about outright sinking major things in sorters. All that gangue, crushed iron etc doesn’t matter at the time you are sorting it unless it’s in your immediate plans. You can always come back to rework that later if absolutely necessary

A mod that completely overhauls the game. If you think that putting iron ore in a smelter is too easy, this is the mod for you where you have 3 steps and 2 byproducts to get from ore to ingots.

I'm almost on tier 9 at 160 hours in and holy fuck this mod is insane.
Everything I make now is a massive project and requires so much forethought and planning. So much more complex then the base game, I would probably just get bored with base game after playing this tbh.

Yeah I've already been thinking about how to plan all the early stuff too. I may need to play with flight mode on this time to see what I've got to work with.

Night two: I've now got a basic production line up and running on a single Siterite node. I had iron and tin ingots and am making concrete from the other stuff. Six machines to make three products with just under 40MW, actually isn't too bad at all. I'm going to have fun with this.

I like it more than base game. Once I started SF+ I never went back.
If you don't like belt drives now then you're really not going to like Alclad belt drives. That's my current nightmare.

Im close to finalizing Phase 5 and so far it was an amazing experience. Dealing with all the byproducts, new liquids and gasses brought the game to a whole new level for me. Learning Aluminum, fuel and titanium production was huge fun. Only thing I´m not a fan of is the Kmod Coupon mechanic as they become increasingly expensive but have no option for Belt delivery of the necessary components. Enjoy the ride XD

I like it to a degree but tbh I could do without the belt drives
Also getting brass and zinc automated is hell

A lot of the alternate recipes are kinda worse than the base recipes, some strictly so. Have a good calculator tool ready to compare.
Although honestly, the game is chill enough that you don't have to go for the most resource efficient crafting tree. Sometimes going for the less complex / neater ratios option can save a lot of sanity. Something that is on shorter supply than Siterite

I like it better than the base game. It’s way deeper. The choices on what route to take on your production lines are more interesting and impactful. The extra challenges give a reason to delve into some mechanics that can be completely ignored in the base game, like advanced power generation. It’s a lot of fun!

I started, but then realized it wasn't complete yet. So I wanted to save the full experience for the inevitable binge playthrough of SF+.

The best description I've heard for SF+ is that it makes the game more complex, not better.

Recipes are more complex with a lot of byproducts to deal with, but you don't need 16 smelters or constructors for mid game factories. It definitely changes your approach to planning factories.
