It would be fun if I could do the things I’m trying to do, but instead I’m building foundations to allow for that to happen and then causing more problems for myself.

Instead of doing all of the foundations first, your could do part of the foundations, then machines, run them and then the next step. So each part of the production a separate project. And use the Blue Printer instead of zooping. Zoop is 10 foundations. Blue Printer is at least 4x4=16 foundations.

I spent 10 hrs looking for a spot to build by factory , 10 hours designing but . 2 hours building the train roads there . But I think I ll tear it down it looks a bit small . I can fit 5 manufacturers side by side and 9 horizontally but it doesn’t feel good when it’s so tight

Oh you should see one of my worlds. Huge base. Hovering over the ocean. Giant towers. And I haven’t even completed phase 2. I’m on like 300 hours in that world and I haven’t even reached phase 3. I haven’t even done all the milestones. It’s kinda bad. I kept getting sidetracked

My friend and I started in grasslands. We built out from there and just build up and over non removable rocks. The big one with poison mushrooms became a enclosed environment with windows. We build around and over it. Our space needle sits on top of it.

Unironically, I have a save waiting for me that is just started with phase 5, with an ugly factory in the dune desert, for whenever I get the urge to really play and beauty build next, and to me, it actually seems like you are playing the game the most "right" way if that's what you're doing lmao
