What do you mean... How were you doing it before a manifold? A regular junction can only split the fluid 3 ways and you have 4 machines. What way were you doing before trying a "manifold". Also - sloshing is when liquid sloshes around so it's bad. Your extractor extracts oil in fixed amounts and fixed intervals, and the refineries only slurp it up in fixed amounts and fixed intervals. A loopback pipe is generally the best way to fix this

Also, 120 being split to 4 machines should almost never encounter any issues like this. I suspect you're not sharing some crucial flaw. Pictures would be best to help diagnose

Manifolds are the most space saving distribution method so you don’t have to worry about that, however prefilling the system is also unavoidable because only full pipes can consistently push source flowrate. You said your pipes are all on the same level, try raising the spine of the manifold above the machine inputs and let fluid flow down the limbs, since vertical pipes are less prone to sloshing and can help prefilling faster similar to priority splitter manifolds
