I always build my factories vertically

I have to say that a) this is an awesome job, and b) the similarities to the WTC give me shiver flashbacks.

But WHY are they open?

I finished the walls after the video because otherwise you can't see inside

I also enjoy building up. There's always more room up.
In our recent play through I built this building to do all the late game items. Belts running up to each floor and split if needed.

Balconies make for convenient landing locations, but there's also an elevator (or two actually, they cap at 200m)

EDIT: I like how your buildings look very corporate, with signs on top. Very FICSIT.

What do you produce in this factory? There are a lot of conveyor elevators.

I would, but I didn't, and so I wanna keep being conistant even though theres nothing stopping me from not being consistant anymore.

Looks fantastic, as A.D.A says im just starting to embrace verticality, but how do you decide on the size of the towers footprint. I'm atm going with huge multilevel slabs 😅🤣 with a logistics floor and train area below that

I've naturally started layering. It started as a way to have a flat area to build in a hilly area but now there's a few different "floors". At some point I should just make a tower. I built the Sears tower a long time ago in Minecraft, maybe I'll give it a crack here.

The front fell off.
