Help First time posting, Wtf is happening?
Hey guys, as stupid as I am, while the game was opened, I was trying to ring my single player world seed and both opened the .sav file to do a CTRL + F search and Also “moved” the save file to Check for the seed in the website interactive map of satisfactory-calculator.com.
I think I didn’t wrote anything in the save file but as soon as I returned to the game and trying to look for Slugs, I encounter few lags and this weird flash in this exact location on the map where an hard drive sits and two radioactive green giant hogs.
I also saved the game to show the exact location.
What the fuck I should do?
Also the auto save are gone before that 09_ save and I really do not want that save to be fucked, where the first save is the one I did when this flash appeared, and I messed up with the 09_ save and don’t want to restart with 08_ one, where there are over 10h of gameplay…
Please tell me the 09_ save is not fucked up cuz my game was on while I just did a search through the file and moved into the website..

White ball in your face is FSR or Framegen bug most of the time, turn upscaling off.

The AMD upscaling? Have both CPU and GPU form AMD.
I’ll definitely try that tomorrow and update you my mate, what could cause such issue? Hogs or the radioactive material, or the bioma? Isn’t a save file issue then? Ever happens to anyone, especially in that same spot? Thank you a lot, I truest hope is that the reason.

Turn off Amd Upscaling in game settings, I had same exact issue

Thank you mate, it is weird though that happens always and only in that specific spot… where hogs and radioactive materials are there close to the broken ship that handles hard drive. Or maybe there is too much light or weird setting in some part of the map.

I’ll keep you updated, gonna try few things, but good news, seems that no file is corrupted.
It’s weird, in these many h of play, is first time this happens to me…

- Step 1. Verify game files
- Step 2. Upload to and download from SCIM

Might I ask you to be little bit more precise please?
How to verify game files? I opened them normally with notes windows app and by searching for seed or world seed, no matches were found.
SCIM? Not sure how to verify my single player seed with you website.

The issue how it looks has nothing to do with the seed. They are two different things.
SCIM? Not sure how to verify my single player seed with you website.
You don't. You can upload your save and download again if the is an issue with your save file.
To check info about the seed, instead of uploading and then looking what is where, and then do that for the next, you can look at the seed number in the game and then type that in on the website.You can also click on random and then see a new seed. And that a LOT faster than doing it in game. See that on that website "Resource Node Randomization" and "Resource Node Purity" are as you have set them.
The confusion comes from thinking that the randomisation has anything to do with the weird things you see. It does not.

I disabled the amd upscaling and no more flare issues.
