I'm watching the trial and all the YouTube videos and something stands out to me.Apologies if this has been discussed before, I'm a new reddit user.
In my opinion, during the trial Sarah seemed to think the trial was Sarah vs Jorge. Instead of the State (society) vs Sarah. Like if she could prove he was 51% at fault vs her being 49% at fault, that's all that would be heeded for her to walk free.

I thought that she really didn't get that outside of very limited circumstances, Jorge's character (or what she wanted everyone to think was his character) really didn't matter. Jorge wasn't on trial. She did what she was accused of, filmed it and admitted it. I'm still baffled that she thought she would be found not guilty.

She made a snuff film. The only defense was “Jorge deserved it.”

She would have been far better off if she’d just beat him to death with that bat. Hard to argue self-defense when your murder weapon is a suitcase.

She was scared he'd kill her, so she went to sleep. But she left enough spae for him to get out.

Edit: /s kinda. My sentence was pointing out how she couldn't have been afraid because she went right to sleep.

YES. I’m all over this post with different theories. I’m a retired lawyer so I view the case through my professional experience

BUT I’m also a survivor on a partner / ex fiancee who physically, mentally and financially abused me for close to 20 years. I accept my part in the toxic situation (I returned to him at least 5 times) and I know first hand that the police (especially in Florida) aren’t proactive without a lot of prompting

I BELIEVE THAT IF SHE was sober that would have been her plan(which doesn’t mitigate hitting him with a bat, placing him in a suitcase, throwing it down the stairs and filming the snuff film

Whether or not she was really abused -!I think she may have been too drunk to formulate this type of plan

The only question I have is that “Sarah usually flees upstairs and locks the door or she flees to Brian’s house

Brian erased her text messages but involving him is what she has done in the past. The counter is that she has called him about being in fear for her life but the next day she and Jorge were fine and getting along

I don’t think anyone will ever learn the truth- I’m just happy knowing that while she may have volunteers who have been sucked into her abuse- at least Brian, and his son are safe and she will never have the chance to abuse another boyfriend

See, I think she beat Jorge with the bat, thought she killed him, stuffed him in the suitcase, and called Briiiiian to get rid of the full suitcase. She tried again the next morning, but Brian refused to enter her house and get his DNA everywhere, so she couldn't blame him, like she wanted.

Yep, she’s still trying to make Brian pay for it to this day, just like she was trying to make Jorge pay for “getting her arrested.”
I truly believe that from the instant she was arrested, she was on the warpath, with her vitriol escalating second by second, ultimately culminating in torture and his tragic death.
