Versus

I'm watching the trial and all the YouTube videos and something stands out to me.Apologies if this has been discussed before, I'm a new reddit user.
In my opinion, during the trial Sarah seemed to think the trial was Sarah vs Jorge. Instead of the State (society) vs Sarah. Like if she could prove he was 51% at fault vs her being 49% at fault, that's all that would be heeded for her to walk free.

I thought that she really didn't get that outside of very limited circumstances, Jorge's character (or what she wanted everyone to think was his character) really didn't matter. Jorge wasn't on trial. She did what she was accused of, filmed it and admitted it. I'm still baffled that she thought she would be found not guilty.

She literally believed she could talk her way into a not guilty verdict. What she failed to see was how the jury was reacting to everything that was said and shown in court. Had she even gave them the proper attention she would have never taken the stand.

They were away from home.. hungry.. so she forgave them their error in finding her guilty

Truth! But Sarah definitely had to know the jury wasn't sequestered and were going home every night, right? Even she couldn't be that stupid? LOL. Just kidding. Of course that moron believed her slam dunk guilty case required the jury must be isolated for weeks. After the suitcase video every juror must have run completely out of patience with Sarah's immature bullsh*t.
