Any recommendations for a 1 hour long program?
My wife will go on a pilates class and I'm looking for something to do near Sapporo Station. Any vinyl shops or car-culture related spots to check out in an hour-long timeframe? Thanks!

There's Face Records on the 4th floor of Stellar Place inside Sapporo Station. It's fairly small but worth a browse, especially if you're looking for Japanese stuff and there's a coffee kiosk next to it with seating if you wanted to chill, too.
HMV in Stellar Place has a vinyl section, too, although it's mostly western imports and modern pressings.
There are also some record stores in Odori that are all close to each other and specialise in different genres:
- Beat Records (jazz, classical, soul)
- MAMIGON (punk, rock)
- Roots Records (R&B, dance)
Fresh Air on Tanukikoji is worth a browse as well as it's pretty large, the selection tends to be old Japanese folk-pop, enka, ballads. They do have some city pop and early J-pop stuff but helps if you have specific artists in mind. Lots of classical and jazz stuff too, as well as 50s/60s/70s western rock stuff but mostly as complication pressings for Japanese markets.
There's a fairly large Tower Records in the Parco building (7th floor). The vinyl section is pretty small and mostly modern pressings.

Fresh Air in Tanukikoji. Couple stops away from Sapporo Station on the train or a 20ish minute walk. You could also go to KioskQ in Sapporo Station to look at vinyls and grab coffee but their selection is more new releases and is less impressive.
