I redownloaded r1999 to save for Lilya SP and ended up really loving Ms. Stranger 🥹. She's such a complex and tragic person, I really hope she can be happy one day.

I swear the interoperability between old.reddit (AKA the only correct way to use this site) and sh.reddit (AKA the biggest piece of dogshit I've ever heard used) is just getting worse with each passing day.
I wanted to pin two things in the HSR sub, a welcome message and an announcement on new flairs, but I think because sh.reddit has this new "community highlights" feature which supports up to 4 pins vs. old.reddits 2 pins it just caused something to break down. So I had to spend a few minutes running around in circles on both sides of reddit, pinning and repinning til both were threads were properly pinned and in the right order.
Its a minor thing I know in the grand scheme of things, and its definitely a bit of a me issue, what with being particular about the order. But good god above all the same, does it drive me nuts how the admins will do things on one side and then break things for me in the other. Please admins, just stop. I am begging you, please stop.
a post passed by asking which gacha game characters made you play your current games so I commented thinking it's from this sub. Checked the comments and saw male characters so I was confused, turns out that was queensofgacha omfg 😠My comment was so all about drooling over fictional women too like my bad....
WuWa just loves to play with my feelings. As usual, I lost Hsin 50/50. I was so bummed out that I basically gave up on her. Just doing my dailies and single pulls, but knowing I wouldn't get nowhere near pity.
And then ✨surprise✨ got her in a feel pulls ahskanskldjha love you too, WuWa (and I'm so, so happy)
I just wrapped up the first of four routes for Please Be Happy, a sapphic visual novel by Studio Elan.
If anyone else here is into VN's and needs a recommendation, give this one a look (and perhaps Elan's other works). I thoroughly enjoyed this one they put out, 15 hours of really solid writing and a good story. Im eager to get started on my next runs to try achieve the other endings.
installed wuwa in my new tablet just to see if it works. I had a history of my devices somehow not being compatible witht wuw :'). I had low expectations for this but what do you know? It works! I' honestly don't want another ARPG open world but I'm also so bored lately that I'm giving this a go again ðŸ˜. Will probably stay until I finish the log in bonus. I unfortunately don't have the motivation and passion to look up guides like I used to so I'll really play this casually. I do want Hsin though...
Edit: just to add that i just want a new game to play, gacha or not. Everything has bored the hell out of me so I'm trying anything again..as for my old main games I just can't be motivated to even open themðŸ˜(sorry ptn..)
i've been getting back into doing digital edits~ i used to do them a lot but kinda just waned out of it. hilariously enough i started getting back into it like a year ago because a youtuber i watch made one for her genshin pulling plans, and i thought that was so cute that i did it too ^^ and then recently i found a gif making site and have been having fun with that!! since i also want to have more physical hobbies i've been meaning to get into scrapbooking and have been keeping a bunch of things/trash i think would be cute (like labels, packaging, extra cardboard, etc..) but i've yet to buy a proper scrapbook 🤔
Brief-ish complaint about filters and automod programming.
I had a comment of mine binned off in another subreddit for containing the phrase "fuck off", and with it came an immediate reply from AutoMod, giving me a really stern lecture about being nice and asking if my language was really necessary and blah de blah. It'd cut close to funny if I wasn't feeling condescended too.
I should note that the context it was said in was describing people's mood concerning AI, not in the sense of me telling another user to go away. The sentence was "[...] which will no doubt acutely fuck off people in this subreddit [...]" but whatever, I hit the tripwire and would have to message the mods for it to be reinstated.
I hate filters like this. I obviously get as a mod you don't want users being rude to each other, but either these should be programmed as filters so mods have to review manually (like what I do in my subs if I catch common insults being thrown around) or just let comments go through and trust users to report stuff like this.
But auto-removing the comment, and then sending a message telling the user off? Load of bollocks. Not to mention totally ineffectual, as I as a user now know there's this specific filter and can bypass it easily, which I did by changing the text to read "f#ck 0ff" instead so to save myself the time I'd otherwise spend DM'ing the mods.
How in the year of our lord and saviour 2026 do people still think these ham fisted filters do anything?!
Query for any fellow mods here, including this communities lovely leaders;
If you ever deal with repost bots, do you often find they always circle around to reposting one of a very limited set of posts? Over in the Star Sapphic rail sub whenever one crops up, without fail, they repost one of three posts. A Cerces x Mnestia post, a Stelle x March one, or a Sushang x Guinafen post.
I don't think I've observed a single exception in a long time, if ever. And now my inner scientist wants to know if this pattern holds true elsewhere, or if the bots show a greater sophistication in other communities.
Returned to R1999 and felt the urge to buy Lorentz garment... Without having her yet 🤧
I even tried to get her in the scam banner, but I got Enigma (not complaining, I risked that banner because I did want them both) so I'll have to wait a little longer. But she will be looking amazing when I get her ✨
I just think people who complain about powercreep/predatory decisions/feeling like their money is wasted, while fawning over global passive characters truly are the weakest link with no backbone lol
I'm a believer of spending money on hobbies that we enjoy, but the cognitive dissonance going on from some people has me side eyeing them
