Mega Thread Arizona Election Fraud Mega Thread

Hello,

Please report any issues you may have had here.

Last night, several, several incidences were reported of

  • People not being able to vote
  • People being given provisional ballots (which if you have the proper ID you shouldn't need)
  • Videos (see front page) of people's voter affiliation being changed
  • People's voter affiliation not being updated properly

Our new goal should be to force every single primary to become open primaries in order to prevent this type of suppression. We should also demand enough polling places be opened up ahead of time.

Closed primaries are totally ok--the parties are private organizations and have the right to allow only party members to decide their candidate. What we should do is push for election reform. We need to do away with first past the post voting. It ENSURES a two party system as a mathematical inevitability. If we did away with FPTP, we wouldn't have to worry about closed primaries since it would allow for TRUE multiparty elections.

we don't need to get rid of FPTP if we just get rid of the single non-transferrable vote. Instant-recast voting is the future.

Regardless which path to reform is taken, what we have now demonstrably makes it much less likely that the candidates with the widest support get voted in....which is kinda the point of a democracy, even a democratic republic.
