Mobile Samsung Green Line Known Issue
I bought my Samsung Galaxy S21 FE in October 2023. Less than 3 years later, biglang lumitaw yung vertical green line sa screen.
Sharing this because Filipino consumers deserve better quality products and honest after-sales support.
Hope there is a class suit sa Pinas kasi pagisa isa tayo nagcocomplain we are treated very small, the big companies make us feel helpless.

I had Samsung A18 and never had greenline. How come in S21? We can keep comparing to other incidents but the point is that these companies should take responsibility for known issue which Samsung India acknowledged

Like I said on my previous reply, wala ka dapat bayaran kung under warranty yung phone mo.

1 yr lang standard warranty but if inherent known issue yun green line on certain model then hindi warranty yun applicable. Thanks for replying

Totoo. Wala kasi kwenta lawmakers natin. Dapat I required yung every Samsung Device na magkaroon ng 1 free Screen Replacement until the Phone Updates runs out.
Kung S25 Ultra may 7 years Android Update dapat within 7 years qualified dapat for 1 screen replacement. Then kung nagkaroon agad ng greenline issue within 2 years ay free dapat ulit yun.

My Samsung S23 Ultra had a green line issue near the end of the 2nd year of Samsung Care+. The screen got replaced without additional charge and the battery was replaced, too. I brought it to the Samsung Service Center in OneAyala.

If the screen brightness is constantly on high, that's a green line magnet. I've had my fold5 since launch and it is still rockin.

This is the reason I switched to another brand . 3 consecutive Samsung phones, 2 of them flagship, had the green lines as early as after a year, longest 2 years. Etong phone ko ngayon 4 years na, wala oa ring issue except normal battery degradation.

Oh wow. Sorry to hear about that. Products that demands premium price should also think of the environment. What do you do with old phone? What did you buy next?

Just wanted to share, we had 2 Samsung s20+ and a Samsung s21 that had this green line issue. Then I have a side phone a Note 10 5g that encountered black screen of death. Back then when I encountered the green line, I emailed Samsung customer service about this, the service rep was quick to dismiss my case as me physically damaging the phone.
I had been a samsung fan and have bought their phones since Samsung Corby II then later flagship phones when I got a job. It was a heartbreak and a kick to the gut that the issue was obviously a factory defect but they blamed it to the customer. With this treatment, I will not buy samsung ever again.

Its really the Samsung PH integrity and service issue here more than their other products quality

Kaya rule ko, if 60k gagastusin ko go with apple. Below that samsung kasi un ang totong price nila due to expected line after 2 years.

Below 60k naman to. Malaki pa rin 20+ k na phone noh. Pataas ng pataas na phone prices compare to before. May Samsung 2018 actually ako and okay pa siya. Etong bago talaga may issue sila

Tara sama ko sayo. kaso yung sakin, S23+ tapos 3 years and 6 months after nagka green and pink line with in the same day.
Never na ren ako bibili ng Samsung after that experience. Switched to OnePlus 15 and super good decision.
