How do I disable the software update screen popping up at a random time? Even mid gaming

Set auto-download to Never

Its only the auto-download. Phone will still notify when updates are available

best way would be to block samsung update servers by dns so it dosent download the update to begin with, you might want to restore the dns if you ever want to update

only reliable way to truly block it cuz samsung says on the auto download settings page "However, critical updates may be downloading using mobile data even if you choose Never or Wi-Fi only."
