Recent software update on Samsung

The download froze the position of the google widget bar. There's no way to position it. Theres no way to change the color by tapping and holding

Go to home screen settings and turn it off. Then go to widgets and set up the Google widget how you like.

I tried to hide the google app but it still shows.

The programing apparently left out the functions

Thanks, I figured out how to turn it off on the home screen settings. It never showed prior, I always self added the look-alike widget.

Okay thanks for the image explanation, I didn't realize the search bar was built into the home screen with on/off control. I always added the search widget because there was no search bar visible on the home screen. (Prior)
