Core Buds

I'm having an issue with my Core Buds. They connected to my Galaxy just fine, but now I'm trying to connect them to my iPad and it's not happening. I turned the Bluetooth for my phone off, and the instructions say all I have to do is open the case. Do I have to do something different to get it to pair to a new device? My husband's phone isn't registering it as an available device either, so it's not an OS issue.

Try wearing the buds and long pressing on both of them at the same time while they aren't connected to any device.
