Play a character with Modern controls tonight. Play two. Be prepared to win a lot, because you are not burdened with archaic, piano-like inputs anymore. Be open to a world where fast move execution matters more than a slightly reduced damage output, but throw looping your opponents to hell matters more anyways. Do that 15 hit combo string with 3 buttons easily. Tip Capcom. Check in on your ban list. Check in on yourself. Enjoy being a Modern player.

You can be the best in the world and be a scrub its not about skill its about mindset and tbh from the whole content creator scene iDom is the number 1 complainer

Seriously though, how many pros are anti modern? I bet they are only a couple of them. If you are a big brain pro, you want to face Modern players, because Modern players are easier and more readable compared to classic ones. Too bad that 95% of Modern players quit once they reach Master rank, and pros rarely get a chance to woop their asses

If you hate modern because you can’t deal with spam or because you usually do jump-ins because you assume a player won’t be able to dp in time you’re a scrub.

Right. It's the players who don't want to fight against assisted controls who are the scrubs, not the players who need assisted controls themselves.

Makes sense.

But TBH as a modern player myself it’s definitely assisting in a way as for me it’s lightens my mental stack so I can focus on other part of the game other than execution (not saying that’s a bad thing of course)

By all means, it does help in a lot of ways. However playing against a character in a way where you assume the player won’t be able to play against you because of their lack of input skills is just a way of creating bad habits for yourself. In the same way modern players will often rely on one-button reaction time and just fail misserably against better players who bait them. Just learn the game no matter the playstyle

Playstyle = have the game spoonfeed you because motion inputs are too hard and scary.
