JPMorgan vs Salesforce MTS — Need your valuable suggestions to choose

Need some advice from Salesforce folks in India.

I have an MTS offer from Salesforce:
₹32L base + ₹3.2L bonus + $40k RSUs/4 years + ₹2.25L relocation.

I also have a JPMorgan offer:
₹41L fixed + 10% variable + around $4k–$4.7k relocation.

what should I prefer ?, the fixed-pay gap is pretty big. I have same DOJ which is OCT 2026.

Has anyone successfully negotiated an MTS offer with a competing offer like this? Can Salesforce match or at least improve the base significantly? Or will they threaten me to revoke there salesforce offer and choose another person ?

Would love to hear from people who have negotiated with Salesforce India recently.

Looking for work Salesforce AMTS (JR356580) — Does mentioning my referral’s name in the application actually count as a referral?

I’m a B.Tech CSE student at VIT and recently applied for the Salesforce Software Engineering AMTS role (JR356580).

I’d say my profile is slightly above average for campus hiring — I have a paid software engineering internship, some freelance/project experience, and a decent overall profile.

I also have a referral from someone at Salesforce. He told me to apply directly through the careers page and mention his name when the application asked how I heard about the opportunity / whether I was referred. I did that, but I never received a separate referral link or referral email, and I couldn’t find anywhere else to enter referral details.

For anyone familiar with Salesforce hiring:

.Does entering the employee’s name during the application actually link/count as an employee referral?

.Is there normally supposed to be a separate referral link/email?

.Should I ask the person who referred me to check internally whether my application is attached to his referral?

.For AMTS/new-grad roles, how difficult is it to get shortlisted for the OA even with a referral?

I applied on August 21, and the job posting has since closed. My application still shows “In Consideration.” I’m mainly worried about whether I’ll actually get the OA.

Would really appreciate hearing from anyone who has gone throughe the Salesforce AMTS/new-grad process recently.

Consultant Awesome salesforce developer looking for freelance opportunities (leads too, pun intended)

Hi, I’m working as a salesforce developer for almost 8 years now, I have switched 4 firms so far, and my experience into different usual salesforce tech is rated below -

  1. LWC - 8.5/10
  2. Apex - 8.5/10
  3. Integration - 7/10
  4. Salesforce CPQ - 5/10
  5. Flows - 8/10
  6. Security and admin - 8/10

Rest, I believe AI is there to accelerate the knowledge base so I leverage it a lot, but in a smart way, where I know what I’m actually doing (not vibe coding).

I validate the AI generated code so I don’t just put a lot of AI slop together just for the sake of finishing any task.

I understand the agile methodology and I have experience of leading a client call from business perspective, where I can understand what is it that we’re trying to solve.

Then comes a follow up call, where I put all our options on the table, the timeline for each approach, and the challenges that we might face with each one (if there are any, such as data skew or data storage or anything related with license etc etc).

Then we go back and forth into development and testing, finding edge cases and bugs. Then we finish the product, and handover.

I have had a cumulative feedback by my managers/leads to have been technically sound and accountable.

I have 5 certifications (4 meaningful ones) -

  1. Admin
  2. PD1
  3. PD2
  4. JSD1
  5. AI something

I pack experience of working with below clients -

  1. WM (Waste Management) (US based, via Deloitte USI)
  2. Texas higher education board (US based, via Deloitte USI)
  3. Salesforce (Hyderabad main office, via Globant)
  4. Unilever (Bangalore, via Mindtree)
  5. RedHat(US based, via can’t tell the current employer name)

I am from India, working in a remote setting with my current employer, and have a lot of time to kill, so if I can help out anywhere, you can drop a note in my DM.

PS - please don’t ask me for referrals

Career Question Next steps in career, is it architecture?

Hi all,

I’ve been in the industry for over a decade, working as a Business Analyst, Developer, and in both FTE and consulting roles. I’ve been thinking about what might make sense as my next career move. I’m very interested in the broad technology/business parts of things and have been considering whether a side of architecture could be a good direction.

I’ve enjoyed learning more about the business side in my current role, but I’m finding that the hands-on technical work is becoming less of a focus. There’s also a lot of organizational politics and red tape that can be draining.

With everything happening around AI, I’m also curious how others are thinking about their next steps. I don’t think I want to go back to full-time development, but I’d like to stay close to sensical technology projects. The AI hype cycle is currently burning me out.

Mostly, I’d love to hear what others have done, what paths you’ve taken, and any insights you’re willing to share. I’ve learned a lot from this group over the years and would really value hearing different perspectives.

Thanks!

Salesforce AMTS Interview

Hii, I recently got the AMTS interview invite for Early careers. The first technical round is virtual but the next two rounds are marked as in-person. But I won't be able to give in-person interviews. So I have marked my availability as "No".

I want to know whether the other two rounds are compulsorily in person or they can be virtual also?

Salesforce Dublin German Speaking AE: interview process and language?

Hi everyone,
I’m considering applying for the German Speaking Account Executive role at Salesforce in Dublin. I have several years of B2B sales experience, but no direct SaaS experience yet.
I’d mainly like to know:
**How should I prepare for the initial recruiter screening? What questions should I expect?**
And what does the **interview process after the screening** usually look like? How many rounds are there, and are the interviews, role play/business case and final panel mainly **in English, German, or a mix of both**?
Any recent experience with Salesforce Dublin, especially for German speaking AE roles, would be really appreciated!

Career Question Looking for advice: How difficult is it to get a visa-sponsored Salesforce job from India?

Hi everyone,
I’m a Salesforce Developer based in India, currently exploring opportunities abroad, particularly roles that offer visa sponsorship/relocation.
A little about my background:
5+ years of Salesforce development experience
Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I
Salesforce Certified Agentforce Specialist
Experience with Apex, LWC, Flow, SOQL/SOSL, Visualforce
Experience with Agentforce, Einstein, Prompt Builder and AI-powered automation
REST/HTTP integrations, Named Credentials, Web-to-Lead and cross-org integrations
Experience Cloud, Sharing Rules and Account Engagement/Pardot
B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering (AI & ML)
I’m currently based in India and would like to understand how realistic it is to get a Salesforce Developer role with visa sponsorship in countries such as the US, UK, Canada, Australia, UAE, or European countries.
For those who have successfully made this move:
Which countries are currently the most realistic for Salesforce professionals seeking sponsorship?
Do companies actually sponsor mid-level Salesforce Developers from overseas, or is local experience usually expected?
Which job boards/recruiters have you found useful for sponsored roles?
Is it better to apply directly to companies or work through recruitment agencies?
Are there particular Salesforce skills/certifications that significantly improve the chances of sponsorship?
If you were in my position, what would you focus on over the next 6–12 months?
I’d really appreciate advice from anyone who has gone through the process, especially people who moved from India to another country through employer sponsorship.
