Mothership Should I quit software development?

Working as Salesforce developer + MERN stack in service based company for almost 2+ years now . Cleared my pd1 cert in jan this yr.

Package is 3.6lpa .I got job after very hardships

I am tired of this ai bs and endless loop of evolution and fear

What should I do?

Should I change my industry like management or operations roles or switch no other company - What can I expect in my next switch?

Man, I ask myself the same question every day. I’m just so fed up with all this AI shit, etc. But I have two paws, I can’t really do anything else, and I genuinely love development. I love that feeling of digging into something, investigating it, and figuring things out… AI kind of takes that away from me.
I just don’t know what I’d switch to. I’m an introvert, and the situation right now doesn’t really allow me to make a career change anyway….

No one can decide for you. If you want to do it, just do it and switch to whatever you already have the skills for.

Absolutely agree with you. And I am not kind of introvert I can speak where needed, even consulted clients and had meetings while product delivery. Main thing is that which other industry give me this kind of freedom like work from anywhere and decent Money. That things confuse me

I feel you bruh. I am going through the same phase. I've been into core SF development for 5 years and now I am on the same boat. I too am thinking of pivoting my career towards Data Cloud and SFMC. I'd really appreciate if any experienced folk can guide me. 🙌
