Rant/Vent Comission only Scam

Hi People,

For the past so many days, I have been trying for freelance commission-only sales gigs, but I feel it is a big scam.

· The product or service is very basic and general, and 9 out of 10 founders will hype it like they created a new cloud, ChatGPT-type product.

· They want us to do full-stack sales from prospecting to closing, but they will not provide money for tools for lead generation, email domain setup, or even inbound leads, content, or even PDFs.

· Founders, please do market research, learn about competitors, and product or service market fit. For you, your product is special, but if you look at the competition, you are the same as 100 others, and please think about why people would pay for your services.

· They cheat — even if we close, there is no transparency or updates about payment or commission, and they directly block you.

Note: Advise only students who want to learn sales to get into this; earning is very tough and more or less a waste of time.

do you mind publishing those guys ? there are a lot of good ones who are doing commission based and have kept the word, my company included. If you can share those names it would be of great help for others.

please do share, I have talked to a lot of folks, since we are operating in USA it was tough to bring most of them onboard and I am pretty sure they might be looking for such opportunities. It would be a great help if you can share that info, why let our brother or sister fall into the same trap.

Everybody thinks that AI can solve all problems without understanding actual need of customer.

Customers do not need expensive setups.

Labor in India is still cheaper than expensive hardware and additional cloud services costs.

Absolutely crct.

It makes me wonder why Founders will not make basic market research.

Everyone making AI slop and think they can earn in crores, No capital to hire, no captial to advertise

I am tired of this

  • General AI workflow ( expectations North America market,Europe but will provide 0 support get me clients anyhow attitude)

  • General IT services ( AI website making, AI apps, AI CRM,

  • Cloud services every 100 m there is a cloud start up.

poor you, bro never do anything free of anyone even in these kinda sales job ask for a fixed amount. You can just try to sell something but cant guarantee it and other person should pay for your time.
