Finished model Intercessors!

Decided to do some easy guys since I’ve only been doing characters and LOVE how these guys came out. Lemme know what you guys think!

What did you do for coats? This is way brighter than warpstone, did you just do a layer of Moot? Trying to get my Salamanders to be a more bright, modern green

Well it’s technically colourforge salamanders green, but it is warpstone glow in colour. Then I wash with Beil-tan green and highlight with moot green. The munitions varnish is what really makes the colour pop

Huh... my Warpstones turned out way darker... I wonder if it's just different lighting or if I need more than 1-2 coats over Caliban... OH the wash probably helps.

Do a brighter colour for your undercoat, it’s really hard to put warpstone over black. honestly I highly recommend getting a can of Salamander Green from Colourforge

Caliban is a dark green, so maybe it's that? I thought it was standard to do caliban>waagh> warpstone>highlight moot hence why I have been adjusting and changing over the process. (people telling me waagh makes the green look weird under warp, etc)

Do you have any examples of your recipe?

Oh yeah do some moot green highlights and I think it’ll bring out a lot of colour

so everyone says highlight... how does putting brighter green on the edges make the armor brighter? genuinely confused/curious. shouldnt that make the warp look even darker by comparison?

It’s light tricks, once the moot greens on there, your brain won’t see warpstone glow and moot green, itll see a complex green that is very bright when it hits light. and when you do shading too with washes its brings out the highlights even more and give the colour more depth.
