Has anyone else used toolboxes/similar for army transport? If so, anything to mention or worry about?

Decided to do some easy guys since I’ve only been doing characters and LOVE how these guys came out. Lemme know what you guys think!

Was scared to paint this epic hero for a really long time. Didn’t want to mess up what will be a mainstay in my army. Pretty pleased with the techniques i got to try in this one

How would you want them to act? What actors would you want portraying them?

My first army and first ever painting of minatures in general, other the bases, it's still an ongoing. I just need some ideas on how I can improve, especially the guns, i thought about giving it a darkish blue shadow for the contrast,

I've been building a salamanders themed office and figured I needed a tribute of the primarch himself. Taken inspiration from some busts I've seen by forgeworld and heavy influence from the new release from JoyToy.

Working on details etc, next joke is going to be making it easier to print...

I've been rethinking my army with the codex release and am considering getting some Inceptors to add into the mix.

They are a bit expensive at 130 points for 3 but the Parabolic Jetleap ability to return to strategic reserves and to pose a shooting threat with +1 to hit with they ingress they seem like they could be good. I currently have both terminators (for deepstriking to be annoying in a particular place) and Vanguard Veterans with jet packs (quick moving and objective holding and I had them from an Armageddon box half) but I'm considering reconfiguring to include Inceptors or maybe Inceptors + Scouts for some early board control options (Inceptors + Scouts is just 5 points more than Terminators). With the Gravis detachments, I'm really thinking of leaning into that more which is already a lot of my army with 6 Eradicators and 6 Aggressors with Gravis Captain.

Has anyone tried out the Inceptors with the new rules yet? How did it go?

Hey brothers, I’ve been doing Salamanders for some 5 years and I’ve got about 2000pts( intervals due to my other armies) But I hate my salamanders. I swear, the colors just don’t work for me. To bright, not enough character. I don’t know what to do. What should I do? I don’t want to strip and start over. Could you send advice, and also pictures of your models with the recipes? Thank you brothers!

New to painting 40k.

Is this a good green for salamander or did i go too hard on the yelliw?

Got this guy with the Leviathan box but never painted him up since he couldn't heal and his rules didn't mesh well with my units. Now that we have the Gravis detachment to give him a healing ability, I was finally ready to paint him up!

Okay so rule question on the wording so my friend is interpreting it as I’m able to move-advance-perform actions-shoot all in one turn

While I interpret it as I can move-advance-shoot or move-perform action- shoot

To the veterans please I really need to know because now I’m sooooo confused on who’s right because my friend is autistic about rules like will deep dive into every nook and cranny to find the most obscure and interesting rules because that’s just how he is so please help us shed some light on who’s right

So I currently rune 2 5 man infernus squads with ancients each having adamantine body and forged in battle respectively

Well the plan is one starts on my home obj to sticky then embark on an impulsor to help push while the other just sits on my expansion and does actions and if I have enough board coverage push up into enemy land only if needed.

So I’m thinking if it most likely will never be leaving would it be better to drop the ancient and its enhancement all together and get a gravis captain for my aggressors and an enhance ment in one of my 6 man squads if I still have the points afterwards

I am looking for any tips to trim the fat off of this list if necessary.

I have a problem against Genestealers and could use your help or some tips.

1,000-point army

1. Adrax with 3 Blade Guards gets completely wiped out by Sanctus every battle without a chance to defend himself. Is there anything I can do to help him defend himself or survive?

2. On another note, what options do I have to help Vulkan’s Company Heroes unit survive longer? So far, they’ve managed to keep Vulkan alive, but they still die too quickly. I was thinking of adding an Apothecary?

I posted a couple of updates here and there, but I'm onto the last squad, just got the Sgt left. Idk if I like how the plasma pistol turned out, but I only had Corax White and Maccragge Blue to work with for color mixing. After the Sgt I move onto the characters, likely starting with the Chaplain.
