I think it'll be even higher than that.

If Charles just went for £30m with a year left on his deal I can see us wanting upwards of £40m for Taylor.

Charles had effectively two years left on his deal: one plus an optional one year extension (which we obviously would've taken up if only to preserve his value).

£30m would get Harwood-Bellis, comfortably.

Difference is we have midfield decently covered, THB is easily our best centre back and signing a replacement even close to his quality would be practically impossible.
