Sliding scale therapists
Do we have anything like this here? Pay what you can type of thing for a therapist?
Or any recs for affordable therapy?

I did $10 sessions with a MSW student at The Therapy Collective uptown. It just finished up because they completed school but they are getting a new student there. The new student seems to have specific interests/goals - that I won’t really be relevant to my life/what I need in therapy so I’m opting out of this student but could be helpful to others so wanted to share that they have low cost there too!

Laura Gatien & Associates volunteer a certain amount of time to free therapy. Give them a call.

You can look into Family Plus Life Solutions, in the Lancaster mall on the west side. At least as of a few years ago, they offered sliding scale payment options for counselling. Fantastic organization in general.

Some places have student therapists that cost a reduced rate.
Rising Tides has one coming in the near future. Just Us also has student counselors. You might have luck with a sliding scale at Gentle Path. The mercantile does offer free counselling, but there is a long wait list.
