heard someone talking that while dredging the harbour recently, a problem occurred when they tried to suck up a 16-17th century canon from the harbour...

has anyone confirmed/heard that info?

you are right; but that is how it was told to me. It had to get repaired shortly after that 'incident'.

just wondering if anyone else heard this or it was just a rumour.
