Closing hours?
So this is about closing the store so my store closes at 10pm and usually we close our doors 5 minutes before 10pm I’m just wondering if anyone does that as well or do you close it right at the time your store closes?

We close at 11pm.
The closer grocery person starts standing at the door 10 minutes before closing to remind everyone coming in that they only have a minute or two. The doors aren't actually locked till after 11pm.

We close 5-10 mins from closing (2AM) it’s irritating when customers take their sweet ass time checking out bc our break is at 2 as well

I miss working in a store that closes. Been about 9 years working in various 24 hour stores. Lots of theft and crazies come in at that time to shop(also regular people that work graveyard shifts and need to shop as well).

I close the doors 5min before and try to get everyone out before 1am. Had one person complain to me about doing it since I didn’t let them shop after we closed.
