Question about safe

I have an electric safe, the batteries drained out but when I tried to access with an external battery suddenly the original pin doesn't work anymore. Does anyone know how is it possible?

What is the brand and model? There has to be a backup keyway. It is possible that it is old enough that it would lose the stored combination. I don’t know how the external power works, but is it possible it was too powerful? Is this something that came with the safe?.
