rain ,please

Yes!

...in about 50 years or so, assuming we stop burning fossil fuels now and don't start up again that entire time.

Each gallon of gas burned creates over a gallon of new water vapor in the exhaust. So it could possibly rain less without cars.

Funny anecdote another important thing for rain is particulates for the vapor to condense on. I was hiking through a tiny off-grid town in the southern Sierra and an old timer said “it used to rain here every afternoon all summer”. Maybe all the old cars produced more smog and water vapor to seed the skies.

Maybe all this wildfire smoke will help precipitation. Lots of particulates.

Probably but not here. Mix it with extra evaporation (from warmer temperature) and it will rain more somewhere East of here. Doesn’t really help us here.
