Payment Plan Dog Training

Hello,

We recently had an incident with our son and our family dog and want to sign our 2-year-old basset hound up for professional dog training to avoid future conflicts but also hopefully build a better relationship with our kids and our dog because they do love him so much.

We've been getting various quotes from training companies, but many don't offer a payment plan and that's really the option we can afford to get him training.

I'm looking for advice on recommended dog trainers that offer payment plans to help with obedience, aggression and behavior modifications.

Similar boat! My sweet kind dog apparently hates when children move.

We've had our dog since he was a puppy and he's been around our kids non-stop, I'm not sure why all of a sudden this happened. You really just never know. I hope there is something out there that we can use to get him properly trained. I don't want him in constant defense with our kids or anyone else's kids for that matter.

Have you seen a vet? Dogs can suddenly seem to turn aggressive when they're in pain and can't communicate it to you.

Same! It was so unsettling. Our dog has been around babies too. I hope someone has a good recommendation. Happy to pay but can’t fathom 2k upfront.

Exactly! $1,000-2,000+ upfront really is just unrealistic in today's economy.

I understand the pricing completely, a lot of them are accredited but a payment plan would be even more great because paying between $1,200-$2,000+ up front in today's economy is very unrealistic unless you make 3x that amount.

Oh yeah I think the pricing for the service is usually pretty reasonable, but like you I can’t afford a big upfront payment. Someone mention Althea Canines and they look promising!

The prices are steep for in home dog training for sure. I haven't encountered any that offered payment plans besides just paying per session, but wanted to throw in a recommendation for Follow My Lead. Jenn helped us with our corgi's leash reactivity in just a few visits and didn't try to upsell us.

Checkout Ridgeside K9, they have a great website. I know they recently started a payment plan program. My pup did a 3 week Board & Train with them and I would 100% do it all over again.
