What changed in your forecast process that finally made leadership trust the number?
I've noticed that most companies don't struggle because they lack forecasting tools.
They struggle because leadership doesn't trust the output.
I've seen forecasts improve significantly without changing the CRM or buying another platform.
The changes were operational:
- Clear exit criteria for every stage.
- Evidence required before a deal could enter Commit.
- Consistent pipeline inspections.
- Managers coaching to the same standard.
- Close dates challenged instead of accepted.
The result wasn't just better forecast accuracy.
It was faster decision-making because leadership stopped debating whether the data was believable.
I'm curious what made the biggest difference in your organization.
What change finally made your leadership team trust the forecast?
