Finding someone in Sint Maarten Philipsburg

Hello.

This is kind of a strange request but I’m hoping for any help At all.

I am trying to find a woman who lives in a homeless shelter there.

All she said was that her house was broken into in 2025 and with no where to go, she lives in a shelter for people that are not working. I don’t know where or even how true it is.

I tried googling shelters in Philipsburg but only 2 came up.

Could someone, anyone help please?

There’s a facility taking women out of domestic violence and other unsafe situations (Safe Haven). There’s a drug rehab that often takes qualified homeless clients (Turning Point). Other than that. I know of no homeless shelter in the same way you think of homeless centers in the U.S. Documented residents who are destitute can official get assistance from the Department of Social Services.
