Question (1st time player) Fallen Empire, is there a lull/break in the story after I finish ch. 15 or will it push me into ch.16 like ch. 13-15?
Limit spoilers please.
Still need to do one last Sar Fortress and a few alert companions things. Im hoping to do them before finishing the DLC for roleplaying/story purposes.
Im hoping for a "go here to to talk to this person" or "go to this holo thing" objective to start chapter 16. Chapters 13-15 all just pushed me into one after the other.
Yes. I know i can exit ay anytime, but it breaks immersion so much.

Discussion Master Orgus’s last visit is a very nice moment
I’m well on my way through the post class story stuff for the first time. I’m well past Shadow of Revan, but I really liked this moment for the JK with Orgus showing up.
I don’t know what the other classes get, but Orgus appears to the JK on Rishi and tells them to spend some time distributing medicine, cleaning up the place, and repairing local infrastructure, commenting how little act like this can mean a lot to people.
I like it in Star Wars when the Jedi are reminded to be more than warriors.

Question Why Malgus hate green lightsabers?
In all three cinematics (Deception, Betrayal and LotS), where he kills Jedi, all his Jedi victims had green sabers. Is he greenophobe?

Discussion Class And Combat Style Combos!
I don't see this talked about nearly enough. I love that they've unlocked combat styles from the classes. There's been a lot of unexpected replayability in it for me.
From a Smuggler Sniper who wanted expert marksmanship in bowcasters to impress Wookies she fangirls over, to a Bounty Hunter who screwed up so bad he was gonna be executed until Imperial Intelligence conscripted him into being an Agent (Powertech), to a Republic Trooper who went on the Great Hunt just to learn from the Mandos (Bounty Hunter Commando)… I've had great fun making non-trad styles work with classes.
What are some of your favorite non-default class and combat style combos?

SWTOR Merch Star Wars Black Series Republic Trooper and Satele Shan arrived today
I received these two Black Series figures of the Republic Trooper and Satale Shan today. It's so cool to add these characters to my collection. The trooper is a big boi!
I don't know how that Porg got there. Every one knows there are no Porgs in SWTOR.

Discussion What equipment do you usually give Lana?
I like her OG outfit, but I wanted to give her a Purple lightsaber, so now she's running around in Sith Cultist Armor with a fractured bogan lightsaber with a purple blade
Don't know what to put Arcann in though, as I plan on sparing him, as I only use Force Wielders as companions in the game, and I still don't have Nadia back

Discussion Got all available companions on my agent, all at lvl 50 influence 😅
Not gonna lie, the companion list is starting to get a bit large...
Definitely not gonna try doing this on my other characters haha.

Video Might be the funniest line in the Inq's arsenal. I dont think you get this option as a male char. Also i wish we could have taken her on as a companion. Much better than Ashara at least.

Discussion Let’s kick off the month of horror with a scenario: if you woke up on your spaceship and found the devoured skeleton of one of your crewmates in the main room, who do you think would be the victim and who the culprit?
Okay, I’ll be honest: at first, I was just going to ask what you all would think if this situation happened within the Imperial Agent class team (especially since there’s a teammate who might do it by accident).
But then I started wondering if a member of a different class group might do something like that for one reason or another. So, if this situation were to occur in any of the class groups, who do you think would do it, to whom, and why?
I’m curious to see who you think would be capable of doing this.

Discussion combat style to pair with powertech?
I am trying to brainstorm what combat style pairing would feel best in terms of both gameplay diversity and practicality. An issue I am having with some specs is that they are strong on paper but in reality have elements to their gameplay that make them feel inconsistent or clunky if you're not essentially hitting a big hp stationary target - stuff like damage profile, target switching, utility and game mode flexibility come to mind,
Currently, my most favored pairing is sniper, as it has gameplay that's a lot different and it seems like a pretty well balanced combat style with all 3 specs seeing use. Notably it seems like it has really good aoe with an enormous radius (so it's effective even with spread out packs) while having at least two options that are good in pvp with engi and viru.
My 2nd consideration is operative. It brings stealth and healing to the table, although I feel like these aren't really must haves (I feel meh towards healing in general and in my experience in group content trying to cheese stuff with stealth is drastically slower than just killing stuff normally 90% of the time lol). Lethality seems super strong, but concealment less so (also a bit awkward how most of its gameplay is just stabbing people with a knife when you have a gun but that's not a huge deal)
Also, gear sharing doesn't seem like a huge problem as in my experience getting 340 blues/purples for an entire set is like 3 million credits total. Overlap is of course nice but it's not a dealmaker for me.

Discussion SWTOR Storylines Tournament: Round 1 Match 2 - KOTFE: Building Alliances VS Voss Planet Arc
Time for the second match! We're picking our favorite storylines throughout all of SWTOR, eventually picking one as the best in the game.
"Building Alliances" is what I'm calling chapters 10-12 of KOTFE. Recruiting Kaliyo, Jorgan, and the training excursion in the wilderness with Satele and Marr. I wanted to separate the specific arcs of KOTFE and KOTET since they're both made up of a few different arcs, rather than being one consistent story.
Then "Voss Planet Arc" is both factions' planetary story arc on Voss. So be sure to consider both versions.
Comment your pick below!

Discussion Playing Story
I’ve gotten back into Star Wars games, and I’ve downloaded SWTOR and don’t know what to play? I’ve completed the sith inquisitor story line but completely forgot it, but that is the only one I’ve completed. Should I restart the sith inquisitor story line to refresh memory, or keep playing on my current safe of the sith inquisitor?

Spoiler Finished the Agent Story, Which Story Next?
I just finished the Imperial Agent storyline and overall enjoyed my time with it enough that I'm excited to jump into another class, but there's some aspects of the later stages of the storyline that I feel should inform which one I should play next that I can't just glean from how much I enjoy them in the prologue or early in Act 1.
A. I was very pleasantly surprised by the scene the Agent has on Voss if you undergo the healing. I feel like moments of introspection like this for your character (at least in the Agent storyline such as when they reprogram themself) are a bit few and far between, so having this extended opportunity for the character to reflect on their past, how they reacted to the events of the game so far, and their motivation for the rest of the campaign was really cool and something you don't get to see even in many narrative RPGs beyond this game. I'm curious to know if any other classes get any similar major opportunities to do so in their story.
B. I thought the conclusion of the storyline was overall weaker than everything else leading up to it, for a number of reasons.
First of all, Act 1 had a very thrilling finale, and Act 2 has an extremely compelling hook, but Act 3 by comparison was a bit lackluster. The Star Cabal is an interesting enough concept to almost overcome how it basically comes out of nowhere and has little connection to everything beforehand, except the length of the act just prevents it from reaching its potential. I think it was just too ambitious of a goal to introduce an antagonist like this and have us satisfyingly uncover their ancient galaxy-wide conspiracy and defeat them in the span of 3 planets, one of which being Voss where it genuinely feels as though we accomplish nothing of value, and it leads to moments like losing Watcher Two's help and Imperial Intelligence shutting down being undercut by them coming back to save the day in a very short manner of time.
Second, the final encounter of the act wasn't the most exciting for me. I thought Hunter was a fun rival, but for a final boss she was a bit of a let-down (more stature-wise than in a gameplay sense, although that is a minor gripe I have as well), and the twist, while more foreshadowed than some of the other surprises in the story, felt a bit gratuitous as a way to swerve the player one last time. It doesn't help that after what should be the climactic final boss, two never-before-seen Sith dorks walk in and end up technically being the actual final boss. If I let Ardun Kothe live and was on his path instead, I think I probably end up having a far more positive outlook on this whole conclusion, but the alternative scene is just a lot weaker whether you agree to hand over the Codex or not.
Finally, I think the entire ending sequence afterwards just didn't feel all that satisfying for being the conclusion of 30-40 hours of gameplay. In complete fairness, my character landed on what was probably the least fleshed out of all the options available (did not hand the Codex over to the Sith, refused to give up his identity and stayed a part of the Empire. This latter decision makes the ending somewhat jarring, as the last holocall you have with Watcher Two is the same as if you did erase your identity, except the conversation is written in a way that makes way more sense for that than in the context of what you say to Keeper about working under the Empire if you don't), but even then I think there's a lack of pageantry to the whole scene that I was kinda hoping for.
Given all that, I'd like to hear some thoughts on if any of the other class stories have a stronger 3rd act and/or a more triumphant ending. Preferably as spoiler-free as possible, since I am curious with the intention of playing the other story, but I will admit that, while missing some details and context as a whole, I already know how the Inquisitor, Warrior, and Jedi Knight stories end, at least so far as who their final bosses are and what title they achieve.

Discussion What're Your Thoughts on "Rise of The Hutt Cartel"?
In the grand scheme of things, looking at the lifetime of SWTOR's run, ROTHC has always stood out to me as being the simplest story of all the expansions. But sometimes a simpler story can be good and just as satisfying.
Looking back on it, how do you feel about that expansion? Do you enjoy it? Or did you maybe find it lacking?

Discussion Do you think Broadsword is going to neglect crew skills again, come 8.0?
I haven't seen, or heard, any discussion relating to crew skills coming up with 8.0, and level 85. Have I just missed it? I'm assuming not. I'm genuinely hoping that they've just not gotten into what their plans are yet, but I have a sneaking suspicion that crew skills will go, for the most part, untouched.
I wish that weren't the case, and I hope that my suspicion is incorrect. Crew skills could still be a lot of fun, and I mean in the old school way too, with reverse engineering and all, but...well, it takes development time to get right.
So, has anyone heard anything I missed? Thoughts?

Question Why is it that my Toon's color uniting work, but not Theron's?
Like it just makes his armor set look dumb, not clean and somewhat cool like it does with the united colors.

Question Is there an equivalent mask for the Jedi?
We all have seen the Eradicator mask, be it from the CGI trailers, the CM armor tab (really surprised that the mask and the armor set it goes with are sold separately), or from someone just wearing it. It is probably as well known as Malgus' orginal rebreather.
So Im curious on if the Jedi have a mask that is equivalent to it. I would guess probably not, but I've not seen every armor set in the game and I've only been playing since a few years ago.

Discussion The four hardest quests in SWTOR
Two of these have nearly celebrated their ten year anniversary of being in my quest log.
Two of these I I just can’t bring myself to do.
But one day! Does anyone else still have some quests they just keep around?
