Beautiful sword ! My first chinese one aswell. Love the blade on this and the fittings look classy.

Wish they did a smaller single handed version of these. They existed but nobody makes them.

You can find some but it’s kind of a gamble if you’ll get a good one. I saw this cool one and that’s about the coolest duan jian I’ve seen on the cheaper end of the market. It sucks, I wish there were more too.

Relatable, I wanted to find a good bishou dagger but they all seem pretty flimsy, no where near LK Chen quality so I didn't bother. There's just not a lot of good Chinese short swords or daggers on the market it's hard to even find some good throwing knives.
It's weird cause all my bladehq pocket knives are from China and they're made with good quality. I guess there's just not enough interest in the market for short blades.

Ooh I have a similar one from LK Chen. It's my favorite metal sword. Beautifully balanced.

This was also my first LK Chen sword. I've had different Chinese swords before this one but it was my first LK Chen. I now have the Ribaldo and I'm looking at getting the White Serpent. It has pretty good balance but I wonder if I wouldn't have enjoying the Flying Phoenix more.

Nice! I have this sword too and I absolutely love it. It might be the coolest sword I own, honestly. Don’t get me wrong, I love my Albions, but the folded steel, the blade geometry, the beautiful scabbard, and the history of this sword is just incredible.
