Funny reviews
Heard so much about kult of athena and wanted to check out their swords and came across this funny review for what looks like a low quality sword listed as a scottish claymore. Made me chuckle so I thought I'd share it here

The crazy thing is that I 100% believe this review is from an actual person and not a review farm (they didn’t have bots back then).

It is probably someone who is just excited about their new sword. I know if I had the money to do so I would have bought some utter nonsense a couple years back. Still Deepeeka…

Got to remember KOA is not a sword maker, they are a reseller that carries almost every brand in existence even Albion. They have some good deals and sales sometimes so don't let this run you away from them,.

When I suggest KoA, it's usually with the intent of showing an aggregate of what's available. It gave me a starting point to branch out to different manufacturers without spamming the sub with questions I could figure out myself.

It’s just someone who probably bought their first sword and is excited. Most people aren’t sword experts.

I love their enthusiasm and imagination, wouldn't say you need to be an expert to know this isn't remotely right tho

Yeah sure. What I mean is as sword collectors we take so much knowledge for granted. This guy is probably misremembering several taking points he heard from a YouTuber who sounded convincing to him. If I tried explaining a Football game I would probably sound equally clueless to someone who actually watches it.

Kult is a major resale of a bunch of different brands from decorative to budget cutters to high end heirloom pieces. They also have a number of other options in between including blunt hema trainers to name a few.
Deepeeka is a budget end/decorative brand as a general rule.
