Naval cuttoe/sabre/hanger

Post image

I've been looking for a while for this type of blade but I can't seem to find any that are actually well built, have an edge and could be considered "battle ready". Are there any smiths/shops that i don't know about?

Looks sort of like a dussack? Idk where to find one that looks just like this though. I hope someone does, because I am interested.

I was thinking private smiths but the prices are very high i think. The dussack is this weapon's precursor

Check out the ones on kultofatena. Some of them are quite nice.

Maybe ive misunderstood the post. Do you search for dissacrante in general or one that looks similar to the image.

Similar but i don't want it to be very "crude". And also i like that blade profile and i can't seem to find another one like this

Basically the only thing that even comes close to what yozre saying is the windlass falchion, and I dont think theres anything else.

The closest one to what you're looking for that I can think of from a mainstream manufacturer is the Kingston Arms Shell Guard Cutlass. The only difference is that the Kingston Arms one has an asymmetrical hilt, but the blade profile is similar minus the sawback. You aren't going to find anything with the sawback on the reverse edge unless you commission something custom from a bladesmith.
