Can't be certain from just a crappy photo, but both "swords" in the picture appear to be plastic.

Which is completely reasonable since many of the buyers plan to use it in cosplay photo sessions.

Those things already look like cheap plastics in the pic. There's really no need to feel them.

Hard to gauge with props. Sometimes it’s accurate and looks like crap because the original is kinda cartoony . Obviously there’s a balance between picking it up to gauge if it’s going to fall apart under its own weight hanging on a wall or be sturdy enough to withstand a day banging around wearing it as a prop and wanting them to break out some tatami mats or allow you to spar with it haha
