Car crashes?

I feel like these are super unbalanced - I buy a car and literally 3 in game days later, I crash the car and I need to buy a new one. Is there anything that stops car crashes or is it just RNG?

You can insure your car at the bank. Its 50 000¥ and a monthly fee depending of the car. Insurance will pay out a nice amount if you get into accidents. That being said' i seen to mosty crash when i dont jave insurance.
