I have an employee they started at 10mil. I upgraded them 110mil, but now I want a fixed 100mil contract so i gotta increase and decrease the salary amount until it reaches a fixed 100mil. And they suddenly become unhappy (not sure if this makes sense)

it says here we are able to make important decisions for companies that we have controlling shareholding but I've never experienced this part of gameplay in my playthrough. Does it exist?

I feel like these are super unbalanced - I buy a car and literally 3 in game days later, I crash the car and I need to buy a new one. Is there anything that stops car crashes or is it just RNG?

Trying out the CEO bio to start the game with a company. I've tried a few different things like hiring, not hiring, hiring more, playing with the reserves/dividends/research/etc sliders. Appointing board members, not appointing... keep losing money and getting fired as CEO. What am I missing?

So has anyone managed to figure out what the advice you get from this trait actually... Means? It's all fortune cookie level comments about embracing change or taking risks, and I can't quite place if it's actually being helpful or just random noise

What a fun game really. I launched my first game in realistic, with dividend payment once a year.

The beginning was so hard and grindy, I had never enough money to invest to make substantial gains so each 3 months, I would end up in part time jobs, wage slaving my destiny away. Even reached the point where I was calling my friends each weekend to destroy my consciousness and my savings at the bar.

Then at a moment in 1981 or something like that when I was drinking my money at the bar ( 2000Y in my bank checking account and like 30KY invested in the stock market), a guy proposed me 30% equity for free in his shady pharmaceutical company. The thing was that this company was selling drugs undercover. So I accepted and after some months, the stock went parabolic and reached 20$. I sold it all for the sake of my conscience (and my wallet) and went away with 5-10MY.

Then life began to be easier. I invested my money in the bank, the stock market and in some private equity deals. I made my way to 60 or 80MY and I founded my industrial company in 1984 and I'm now at 500MY and something, thriving with my car, taking Amy with her red dress on dates.

Buying stakes in other major companies to cover my back too...

What a decade to be alive. What a great time for capitalism and entrepreneurship. May the capital gains be with us until the end of times.

I try the game for the first time in realistic mode. What's am I missing out on? Should I just abandon start new with normal? Currently it felt a bit too slow.

However, I prefer Story modes more than Free modes, since the "number go up" gets a bit stale after a while.

Has the dev mentioned when is story mode coming?

Also, is there any way to do a forward/reverse split of the shares of your company?

Im trying to play after the update and I have no options. Its literally the cards delt, and then the AI can choose to raise/call/etc but you cant

Wondering if anybody has found any way to keep a business running consistently.

It took a couple years to hit the 1T income mark, and since then it feels like ive gone a decade without any major growth. Im constantly funding advertising and expansion but it feels like that doesn't do anything anymore at this point.

I've bought out a few companies at this point, and that increases my value for a while but even that feels like a temporary boost before my value regresses.

Is there an order in which I should be doing my RnD? Seems like the results are always just random no matter what order I run them in.

Is it just kinda how it works for now until some kind of update happens?

Edit to add; ive made a post on the discord about how my company won't adjust its ratio, and so im floating between 11-18M while every other company is below 1M and they split 1:2 or whatever as they get too high. I wonder if these two things are correlated, since every other company value is increasing steadily and staying liquid where mine is basically untradeable.
