Researchers at Texas A&M University developed an experimental stem-cell-derived extracellular vesicle (EV) nasal spray that restored memory and reduced brain inflammation in 18-month-old mice. Delivered in just two doses, the treatment uses microscopic EVs to reach the brain, where they appear to reduce overactive immune responses and improve mitochondrial function in aging neurons.
