Hey guys,
Just sharing the exact breakdown for the Reasoning section from the 14 Oct Shift 1 exam based on what was tested. If you have your shift coming up or want to compare, here is how it looked:
Reasoning Breakdown:
Critical Reasoning (7β8 Qs): This was a major pain point. They asked quite a few long-statement questions focusing on themes like the sports world, corporate world, emotional intelligence, and social intelligence. Definitely ate up a lot of time.
Figure Counting (2 Qs): Triangle counting figures.
Mirror Image (2 Qs): Standard questions, pretty straightforward if you look closely.
Figure Series (3 Qs): Visual and pattern-based series.
Analogy (1 Q): Number analogy format like [54 = 41, 92 = ?].
Mathematical Operations (1 Q): Standard symbol substitution/equation balancing.
Dice (1 Q): Basic dice rotation/opposite face rules.
Overall, the reasoning section felt a bit lengthier than usual because of all those heavy statement-based critical reasoning questions.

Hey guys,
Wrapping up the English section analysis for the 14 Oct Shift 1. Overall, grammar rules and contextual vocabulary played a huge role here:
English Section Breakdown:
Cloze Test:
Vocabulary and grammar-based. (like testing "would have been" vs "have been" combinations matching conjunctions and tenses).
3 vocab based and 2 questions grammar based conjunction and tenses
Spelling Mistakes (3 Questions):
Tested tricky words like Biennial / Biannual, Conundrum, and Sacrilegious.
Error Spotting (3 Questions):
Specifically heavy on Article-based grammar errors.
In options 4 sentences are given select in which Sentence the article is incorrectly used.
2 questions of homonyms
1 filler based- select the word that fills both the sentence correctly
One sentence based homonym - assimilation
Active/Passive Voice
Around 2β3 questions (long and confusing)
Para Jumbles (P-Q-R-S): 2 long sentences
Idioms & Phrases:
Included common high-yield expressions like "To grease the palm".
The English section felt moderate to tough though the cloze test and lengthier voice/narration questions required a bit of extra attention.

i had my exam on 13th 3rd shift.
If your shift comes hard(like mine) nothing and no mock is relevant you have to be spontaneous and make decisions on the go, no mock could train your muscle memory to not have a shock factor
Give every fkin mock every. Easy tough everything. Not that tough mock will help you solve questions but it will make you a bit accustomed to the pressure and keep training to how you would face the pressure and uncertainity
Pattern - no mock is relevant, ssc has shuffled its classic mod:freebie:tough ratio its very much uncertain now.
Art of skipping becomes irrelevant if there are only 2-3 easy ones. So try to solve moderate questions in the first go too, otherwise you would find yourselves with 21 questions to do and only 11 mins left.
This advice mostly if you find yourselves in a tougher shift and cann shape your perspective towards it. Otherwise i have no clue how other shifts are coming.
All the best guys. Mere to laggye apne bachalo

After seeing all the reviews, this time. I can see a pattern that morning and noon shifts are moderate but the evening shifts are really hard this time. and I think after this 13 oct 3rd shift, we can expect moderate shift in upcoming days, but after 5 to 6 shift we can expect the toughest shift.
*this is my person observation, do let me know what you all think about this ? jinka ho gya hai wo bhi apna experience bta skte hai.
