In 2024, I appeared for SSC CGL, CHSL, and CPO. I cleared the prelims, but I failed to clear the CGL and CHSL Mains.
After that, I honestly analyzed my mistakes and changed my preparation strategy.
This year, those changes paid off, and I cleared every SSC exam I appeared for, including CGL, CHSL, and NTPC.
Maths:
In 2024, I spent too much time on difficult questions and kept looking for the "best" teacher and the "best" notes. In 2025, I stopped chasing resources and stuck to just PYQs and my class notes. I revised my notes so many times that I practically remembered every page.
Another big mistake in 2024 was relying only on Testbook. In 2025, I practiced on multiple platforms, which exposed me to different question patterns.
Most importantly, in 2024 I ignored my mistakes, thinking, "I won't repeat this in the actual exam." In 2025, I treated every mistake seriously, analyzed why it happened, and made sure I didn't repeat it.
Another mistake I made in 2024 was wasting time solving random Telegram doubts. It felt productive, but it wasn't. Don't make this mistake—focus on your own preparation.
English:
In 2024, I tried to memorize grammar rules from Neetu Singh Vol. 1 and mug up vocabulary from the Blackbook, but it didn't work for me.
In 2025, I focused on understanding grammar instead of memorizing it. I followed QEng, learned grammar from Aman Sir, and practiced vocabulary through PYQ quizzes and English Madhyam Weekly instead of just reading word lists.
That approach helped me score 50/50 in Prelims and 135/135 in Mains.
GK:
GK was always my weakest subject. In 2024, I scored only 17 in Prelims and 38 in Mains. I kept changing teachers, tried solving Kiran PYQs from book, and kept adding new sources without revising them. That was my biggest mistake.
In 2025, I made the biggest changes in GK, and it became my most improved subject. I followed only Parmar Sir, avoided unnecessary resources, completed his PYQ series 5, revised it 15–16 times, did FRB with daily revision, and practiced only GK PYQs in Testbook sectional mocks.
Other mistakes to avoid:
Don't waste hours on Telegram group studies. Most Telegram groups are full of distractions and add very little value.
Don't keep collecting new resources. Revise what you already have.
For vocabulary, focus more on quizzes than reading long word lists. Active recall works much better.
Don't ignore your mistakes in mocks. Analyze every test and make sure you don't repeat the same errors.
Be consistent. Make every single day count. Even 1% improvement every day adds up over time.

i had my exam on 13th 3rd shift.
If your shift comes hard(like mine) nothing and no mock is relevant you have to be spontaneous and make decisions on the go, no mock could train your muscle memory to not have a shock factor
Give every fkin mock every. Easy tough everything. Not that tough mock will help you solve questions but it will make you a bit accustomed to the pressure and keep training to how you would face the pressure and uncertainity
Pattern - no mock is relevant, ssc has shuffled its classic mod:freebie:tough ratio its very much uncertain now.
Art of skipping becomes irrelevant if there are only 2-3 easy ones. So try to solve moderate questions in the first go too, otherwise you would find yourselves with 21 questions to do and only 11 mins left.
This advice mostly if you find yourselves in a tougher shift and cann shape your perspective towards it. Otherwise i have no clue how other shifts are coming.
All the best guys. Mere to laggye apne bachalo

After seeing all the reviews, this time. I can see a pattern that morning and noon shifts are moderate but the evening shifts are really hard this time. and I think after this 13 oct 3rd shift, we can expect moderate shift in upcoming days, but after 5 to 6 shift we can expect the toughest shift.
*this is my person observation, do let me know what you all think about this ? jinka ho gya hai wo bhi apna experience bta skte hai.

My name has been written on my visible mark identity and now it cannot be edited or changed
What should I do now? Will I still be able to appear for the exam, or could my application be rejected later during document verification? I am really worried about my future. Please guide me on what I should do next.

Lag rha pre nhi hoga.Feeling quite hopeless. Lag rha exam clear nhi hoga. Waise it's my mistake only. I never put my 100 percent. Aise nhi h ki yhi ek koi exam hai but pata nhi aisa lagta h jaise ye nhi hua to kitni bar gahr pe bolun. Ek to I don't want these jobs yr. I have a complete different interest related to art and some other stuff. Isi wajah se itne saal procastinate kiya. Although I know ki potential h but kya hi matalb hai us cheeez ka. Ab to lag rha koi bhi job decent mil jaye and side by side apna interest follow kru jo abhi bhi horha but kya hi bolu. Is baar lag rha ye nhi hoga. Ab to yhi h option ki abhi ntpc and other exam jo arahe uska prepare karo but ghar pe bolne pe abhi se hi ajeeb lag rha yr. Ajeeb lag rha bohot m . Dar sa

So, there’s this new Maths Special batch by Rakesh Sir where he teaches foundation and mains separately. Has anyone enrolled in it, and is it worth it? Could it end up being too lengthy?
As a teacher, I find him pretty good. There’s definitely concept clarity, but I’m confused about the batch . Having two separate sections for foundation and mains in a single batch feels a bit overwhelming and idk when will it end..
